Hi ladies, DH is traveling for work this week so we were on our way to the airport this morning. There was stop and go traffic and he was not paying attention and rear ended someone (he was driving). My car was pretty banged up. I panicked and started hyperventilating resulting in numbness and tingling all over my body. They took me to the hospital and I'm now in antenatal hooked up to a heartbeat monitor. I have to be here for 4 hours. So far baby is okay from the portable ultrasound, I'll have another ultrasound after the antenatal monitoring is done.

I just turned 24 weeks today. Never imagine I would spend Vday in the hospital.....

UPDATE: Im finally released from the hospital. The nurse said baby cooperated well as the monitor doesn't always pick up the HB steadily at 24 weeks. She was moving a lot this morning and during the US we saw her sucking her thumb and even touching her toes with her hand. She's measuring right on track and weighs 1lb 6 oz. HB monitoring and US both clear. My BP is a little higher than baseline but nothing alarming. My car is probably totaled.....but I'm glad that baby is fine. I'll rather break a bone myself than have her get hurt. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers this morning, I don't care what other ppl say I love all my D14 ladies.
