Kick tracking?

Hi ladies have you started tracking kicks? Can you see a pattern? It's definitely helping me bond with my baby since I'm not technically "out" at work. When your lo most active. Mine kicks forever after I eat. I think it's because he's driving you bus on what mommy eats lol

    I haven't started counting, but he is starting to have a pattern. 4-5 pm is definitely happy hour in my uterus everyday.

    I keep a mental note. She's active throughout a good portion of the day, but especially morning and evening.

    These kids are crazy after I eat and at bed time. Thankfully I don't notice them much at night.

    Same here--I have come to expect movement at certain times of day, in the morning when I wake up, late afternoon, early evening, then at bed time. Baby's been a little quieter today but I'm holding off on worrying since I've felt some kicks and flutters, just not as insistent as they have been over the past week or so.

    Whoa! My MW didn't suggest kick counting until at least third tri. It will just make you freak out when you don't feel something.

    I don't count his kicks at all, but I've noticed that he does have certain times of the day where he's a lot more active. Around 5:30 am when I wake up to take my thyroid medicine, later in the morning after breakfast, and especially at night after dinner.
    Me: 34 - PCOS | DH: 30 - everything looks good!
    TTC #1 since 10/13
    March 2014 - 1st medicated cycle - 5mg Femara CD 3-7 = BFP! EDD 12/26/14

    I think I'd go bananas trying to keep track right now.  Just yesterday after having been out and about all day I was starting to feel like I hadn't felt her all day.  I ate some grapes and we chatted with my belly on the couch and sure enough we got a little action.  Not much but enough to let me relax a little.

    I don't do kick counts at all. I didn't with my first pg either. I felt DD routinely and didn't need to sit down and count it. With this pg, I don't count or even wait/watch for it- I just notice it and it occurs at pretty routine times already.

    I never did counts with my first either.  He was so active there was never really a need.  What was super fun was when he started getting hiccups every single time I had anything to eat or drink.  There was almost never a moment when he wasn't moving.  And he's still like that at almost 2 years old.  lol

    My OB said counting isn't necessary. By this point you should be feeling baby quite a few times a day. Whenever I realize I've not felt her in a couple of hours, I just drink a glass of ice water or lay down and press on my belly. It never takes long for her to remind me she's there.
