I mean, my DH and I talked about religious preferences, school preferences, discipline/reward preferences, and other trivial things like that. But I am realizing now we missed the important discussions. Mayo or Miracle Whip? Wheat or White bread? A simple sandwich discussion in the car turned into a "This kid will love Miracle Whip!" "No, this kid will not!" argument.
Okay, argument is a strong word. There were raised voices but there were also smiles. But still, this united parenting thing might be hard...
Re: Should have been discussed prior to getting pregnant...
Haha but seriously we eat pretty similarly (DH had to get with the program a bit since I do all the shopping) and if Baby IC wants to be like dad and eat that swill then so be it. I just hope they aren't too picky about everything else!!
Waited a long time, tried a lot of stuff, science made me a mom.

And on that note mayo for lyfe. I pretty much will eat all condiments except miracle whip because that stuff is nasty.

UCONN UCONN UCONN!! I didn't even go to uconn (got my MBA from Syracuse), lol... But born and raised in CT so have been a die hard fan of the huskies since high school! Let the baby be a husky fan!!
1. Pork - I don't eat pork, he does. I would rather my child not eat pork either, but we ultimately agreed to let her decide when she gets old enough
2. Giants vs Cowgirls - As a Giants fan, I seriously cannot stand the Cowgirls. So we go back and forth on this (who's team is the baby going to be a fan of). It's honestly best if she doesn't like football or picks a different team altogether!

He loves Jif and I grew up on Adams.
I grew up in a family who loves onions, but when I reached my late teens, I found I became very ill from them so I quit eating them all together. But I will absolutely encourage my child to at least try them!
Love it! Can't say I remember who she was in the books, though.
