We put together the glider yesterday. The first thing we have done in there. The floor is still covered in gift bags. Need to organize and put everything away. The MIL and me are going to order the furniture tomorrow. I hope to have pictures before this LO is born
I will share a photo but there is still a bunch to do!! The back wall has to be finished with stencilinf and painting of trees but the first pic shows what it will look like. They are wooden - made by DH not decals. The rocking chair was hand built by DH too. It was a present to baby and me Closet still has a ton of work though.
Crib is finally up, so I need to purchase the mattress and continue to wait for my etsy fitted sheets.
Dresser has been delivered and changing table has been up!
All that is left is to put her clothes in the dresser, stow away her blankets and bath supplies on the changing station, and pick up a few things to decorate with.
I have some prints I need to frame and hang up. Just bought the frames from ikea yesterday!
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
We won't have a nursery really. Baby will sleep in our room until he is sleeping the majority of the night, then him and DD will share a room. We do have a huge master, so there will be a special area for LO's crib and all that. But right now, everything is still in boxes and getting stacked to the ceiling, lol.
We have done pretty much anything until we get stuff from the in laws and from the showers. Just need to hang the lantern and buy a rug of some sort because I didn't like the one I initially bought.
We hung up the shelf, mirror and light yesterday. Still need to make the changing cover and hang up art/mobile and a few other things, but it's progress!
Baby will be sleeping in our room until we get a new house and move in (hopefully soon after, if not before baby arrives). Not looking forward to the move but looking forward to each kid having their own room.

Here's a sneak peak. I am waiting on one more final touch and then I was going to post pictures of the whole thing! Sorry about it being sideways, I'm mobile.
Ahh so painting, trim work, and crown moulding are done. Now onto actually decorating!! You ladies are making me feel so behind! I am loving seeing all of your nurseries though.. It's great motivation!! We are also turning our sunroom into a playroom. We totally remodeled the past week and painted it this weekend! (Second photo)

Everything that everyone has posted looks really nice. We finally got the crib up today and bedding is washed and put on. It looks really cute. I will post pictures later because there is still quite a few things left to do. Still have to put up blinds and curtains, hang up pictures and banners that my step-mom made, changing table, and we still have to purchase a rocker/glider. I do have all clothes washed and put in the closet, and all blankets washed. I am off work now so I am planning on finishing the rest this week (well the stuff that I can do without the hubby).
The crib should be in Tuesday... and just have to get a changing pad but everything else is good to go! Set uo the swing and bassinet today. And his closet is done.
@yella726 its the charleston rocker from Pottery Barn Kids. I will warn you though, it took 12 weeks to get delivered :-(
@navyflyer we almost got that one! It's a beautiful piece with great character for a glider. Where did you get the pouf/ottoman? I found one on etsy that I may order, but DH really likes the one in your pic!

First time poster, but these pictures have me so excited! We live in NY in a one bedroom, so had to get creative with furniture and having everything fit.
We moved one of our night stands to be a makeshift changing table with storage underneath so the crib can be next to our bed when it arrives.
The hubby repurposed an old bookshelf to make a mini wardrobe for the little one!
We are trying to do a 'It's a small world' theme, hard to find any decor though
Ladies the nurseries are all beautiful! :x I still have a bed in the middle of mine. I'm still working on DH to move it so I can put my stuff on the walls!

@LightBright515 Did you have a productive night at IKEA?
But I am so glad I never went to ikea when I was moving into my own apartment and dorm at college. That would've been disastrous financially lol
