Itching and bumps on hands and arms

Hi mamas,
Question about bumps on the arms. I have had massive urges to itch my hands and arms like crazy, so much so that tiny bumps are staring to appear and it looks like a rash. But it's just on my arms! Aloe Vera helps calm it down and I'm trying not to overread and freak about this, but anyone with advice/help/suggestions? I have an appointment next week with my midwife...

    It sounds like hives. I got this a few months ago and the dr suggested Benedryl at first and when my symptoms got worse and went all over my body the prescribed something stronger. Definitely mention it at your next appt but try Benedryl in the meantime. Also, if your hands and soles of your feet start to itch really bad, call your MW immediately, it coud be Choliastasis (sp?)

    Did you start using a new soap or lotion? Laundry detergent? Try not to itch, use ice. Maybe* go talk to a pharmacist about topical relief if you can't get to the doctor right away.

    I never heard of chola.... I'll have something new to google! Everything irritates me now that I'm pregnant. I use Benedryl or hydrocortisone cream when it's bad. It had actually just started again cuz I used perfumes and bath and body for a week. My stomach was on fire!!! I use baby magic wash and lotion and haven't had any problems. I can use bio oil too. Palmers stretch mark cream irritates me as well. It was so bad I thought I had PUPP rash.

    Thanks all for the suggestions and support. I'm going to call into my midwifes office tomorrow as I haven't done anything different (except eat more ice cream) in the past few weeks. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm really hoping it's not the liver thing!
