I have wanted to go to an IKEA for years now but alas, I have yet to step foot in one. One day...
Today is a half-day at work for me, so I plan to go pick up DS from daycare and nap during his naptime this afternoon. I could not fall asleep last night, so I have been looking forward to an afternoon nap the early morning hours as I was tossing and turning in bed. Tomorrow or Sunday I think we're going to check out a blues festival in my town since DS LOVES watching bands play live music. Maybe we'll check out a pool or splash park too to avoid the crazy heat.

*Pokes @cheesypeas ovary* maybe that is what we should do though. Would massage help? I am willing to try anything.
The only time my body has been late Oing was the cycle after my surgery that lasted 50+ days.
@sarcaztic10, I actually did this leading up to my pregnancy with Layla. I would give myself "fertility massages" that I found online to help increase blood flow to my uterus and ovaries. My ovulation timing had straightened up by that time, so can't say it impacted O timing at all but there's certainly no harm in doing it up to O. I did it in hopes that better blood flow would equate to better quality eggs which would result in a less shitty LP. Basically though, it just made me feel better to do something proactive to help my body.
Are you under any extra stress this cycle? Any illnesses?

We are going to have a house full of people this weekend. Tonight my sister and her boyfriend and their 4 kids are coming to stay. And also 2 of my friends. They leave tomorrow then another friend and her husband and 2 kids will be here for the night. Tonight I plan on having sum beers and playing yard games!!! Going to be a busy fun weekend!!
*flicks @sarcaztic10's ovary in attempt to wake it up*
My ovaries are asleep too. CD 17 and no positive OPK yet. Stupid uncooperative bodies.
Can I jump on the f'ed (are we allowed to curse here?!) up body train? I'm clomid 3-7 + trigger this cycle and uh hey...CD9 is not appropriate for EWCM if my follie scan is Monday. Wtf. I hope your ladies bodies get it the hell together!
Verdict on the Crayola Factory was that it was a bit of a hike for us (DD was very antsy from being in the car seat for a while by the time we got there) but that she had a lot of fun. It was pretty crowded and noisy though but I should have expected that with a rainy Saturday. If it wasn't so far away I think I would have sprung for the annual pass.
We are driving 1.5 hours to Ikea tomorrow to get DS the Kura bed. I am irrationally excited about this and trying to figure out how I want to hack it
I live about three miles from an ikea, and I still get irrationally excited about a trip. I request pictures of said hack!!!
It's been a quiet weekend here; we started demoing a closet in our guest room in June and we are STILL working on it. I will never buy a house with plaster walls ever again. We worked on it a big yesterday and then movie night with the monster.
Today we are headed to the ILs for a picnic. I get to hang with husbands perfect cousin who married a doctor, has three kids almost exactly two years apart and can still pull off a string bikini. And I got a bfn today. So I am suuuuuuper excited about this, as you can tell.

@onceinlovewithamy Didn't you say you're from PA? There's a good chance I was at the Ikea near you since the state only has 3 of them :P
I'm so sorry for your BFN and your annoying cousin.
And yes, I will post pictures of the hack when it's done! I got paint chips yesterday but we probably won't paint and assemble the bed until next weekend.
How was Living Treasures yesterday? I've been thinking of going and haven't done it yet!
DD and my niece had a lot of fun. We went to the Donegal (Laurel Highlands) location. We went to the Moraine (New Castle) location on our way to Conneaut Lake last month and I thing I liked New Castle better. They were both great, but Donegal didn't seem to have as many different animals as New Castle.

We've got a bday party this weekend, but other than that, not much. Probably just football. Hoping I can slip away for a pedi at some point.

I took DS to my grandma's and I ate until I couldn't stomach the sight of more food. Grandma's cooking will never be matched!
