Damn - I didn't intend to post it originally, but everyone's response indicted the context was vital. I gave you context. It's gone now.
I didn't critique her body, just the outfit and it was only a close-up because of the crop.
Anyway, I'm done defending myself. It wasn't a smart move, but I wanted to get perspective. You certainly gave me that.

OP you've got serious issues if you think it was at all appropriate for you to post a picture of someone else's kid on the internet, especially showcasing her cleavage.

I believe I acknowledged it wasn't smart. Don't think I used the word appropriate.
  • I don't find the dress scandalous.  Certainly not enough to think about it, make a post about it, then post a creepy photo (did u steal that from facebook or something?) to give"context". I'm pretty sure words alone would do.
  • I have an anecdote I'm saving for non-work wifi.

  • I thankfully missed the pic. I think I'll be ok with some cleavage at some point. It is after all her body and clothing is a form of self expression. Just like if she wanted to dress super goth, some maybe ok, but the line may have to drawn somewhere. And prom dresses often times show some cleavage. I had a turtleneck sweater I liked to wear in HS because it was fitted. No cleavage, but in retrospect I call it my slutty turtleneck due to the fit.

    Nope, exactly what I thought.

  • I will teach my daughter to respect her body. Flaunting your boobs and butt doesn't get the kind of attention you want or deserve esp in today's society. IMO there are SO many young girls today who dress way to provocative and those shorts that barley cover up their lady parts let alone their butt! Gah!! Please people! Hideous!!

Me too. I was all prepared to sympathize because I was in a D- cup as a teenager and had a hard time finding clothes that looked "young" but still covered my cleavage. Kinda glad I missed the picture, though.
