    Our friend in college was(is) narcoleptic, so we'd always have to wake him up. One day, DH tried to get him up for class and he attacked him. He missed DH, but he punched so hard he dented his mini-fridge! Obviously, he had no recollection of this. 

    I would also call him to wake him up sometimes and he would sound so convincingly awake. He'd be like "yes, yes, I'm up and out of bed." But it was all lies haha.

    I was hoping to get my class syllabus early because I would love to see how I need to plan out the next couple if months, but the only one I got was for a class I dropped when the one I really wanted became available. Guess I will be going in blind Monday.

    My kid is running around the living going nuts. He's currently trying to break out the front door. Guess this is my cue to get off my ass and get motivated. Dh is doing a dump run to get rid of our garbage, so DS and I are headed out to the farm stand for some veggies and then the market for some meats and other stuff. Maybe if its still nice out we'll hit up the playground later.

    Hello all. I usually go to bed when DD does, because she never falls asleep before 9 and I wake up at 5 for work. She is EBF so i dont really drink (much) when shes awake. Yesterday DD fell asleep at 7:30 and I have weekends off. This is when I realized there was no wine in the house, which was very upsetting. Today I am buying all the cheap wine.

    @angelashly‌ Same here. My kid is off the walls, getting into everything and my dog does nothing but incessantly scour the kitchen floor trying to lap up any remains of scraps or he just whines to go outside but if I let him out, he's whining at the door 2 minutes later to come back in.

    Between the 2 of them, I'm ready to rip my hair out sometimes. Honestly, the dog has been worse than the kid lately. IDK what the fuck his issue is. He's an older dog, and just seems to become more high maintenance with age. I love him dearly, but ugh. Sometimes I just done know what he wants! It doesnt help that my child thinks ourdog is his personal bean bag.

    Aaaand our microwave just shit the bed. I went to open the door to put something in and the latchon it broke, so now it doesn't latch shut...and therefore wont turn on. Awesome. Just what I wanted to blow 60 bucks on today.

    Back to school clothes.

    How lame is this as a Christmas gift for my nieces and nephew (ages 2-4)? Shutterfly has these cute little cups with handles you can personalize with pics on sale right now. So, one for each of them with their name and pic on them. I would add something else...a little toy, book, or clothing item. I just hate buying them a bunch of toys all the time because they have a ton of toys, like all kids. But I don't want to be the lame aunt that always gets them boring shit haha.

    So I know I've been saying I'm done with summer and ready for fall, but this morning it was 40F (4C) outside. I didn't mean that I wanted fall, like.... right now.
