I bought a box of cocoa krispies on a whim this week and have eaten almost the entire in 5 days. When I had left over milk in the bottom of my bowl this morning, instead of drinking it like a normal person, I added more krispies. Then I added too many krispies so I needed to add more milk. Yup, I tricked my way into 2 bowls of cocoa krispies this morning. And both were glorious.
I bought them this week too because they were on sale at Target! LOL. I have been eating them nonstop. I love how chocolatey they make the milk.
FFFC: Sometimes I get really frustrated with how big a pansy my husband can be.
Ex: We woke up to a bat in our bedroom this week. We both ran out of the room and when we went back in the room to catch it (so it could get tested for rabies), we took a big plastic storage container/lid to trap it. Turns out it was hanging from the doorframe right above us (easiest catch ever). My husband was like "OMG, what do we do?" and I was like "Just put the box over it!". So he did, held it there, and was freaking out the whole time. He needed to move the box down and to the right to knock it off the top of the door frame trap it against the door (he had to do all this because he's taller with better leverage). The whole time before he did it he was like "Oh my God, I don't want to do this, it's going to fly and hit me in the face", over and over again. I was really not impressed, especially since the next step was me getting eye-to-eye with the damn bat and sliding the lid up between the box and the door while DH stared at the ceiling and held the box in place. I love DH because he's gentle and kind and is very good at dealing with me and my "issues" but sometimes I wish he was a little more "manly". And I feel bad about that.
Along the same lines, he won't clean up dog puke but has no problem giving someone a prostate exam. WTF?

My boss went to lunch at 12. So I sat in my office reading a book until he came back at 1... then I told him I was going to take my lunch hour ::insert evil laugh::
My mini-confession this week is that since I'm off work for a whole year, I kinda hope the teacher that replaces me does a bad job so all my students and admin long to have me come back. It would just be nice to be appreciated!

Holy crap did we marry the same man? My husband has no issue pulling out an anoscope and getting all up in your backdoor problems, examining sick vaginas, etc. but ask the man to kill a spider or clean up dog diarhhea and you'd think I just asked the Queen of England to do it.
It's got to be a doctor thing. Maybe it's that they have no personal connection to the patients and have trained themselves to think of them as just objects or parts (not that they don't care, it's just not personal). But in about 11 weeks time, DH's medical world and his personal life are about to collide; I 100% expect him to pass out while I'm pushing or after I deliver the placenta.

My FFFC: I haven't watched one ALS ice bucket challenge video. I get the idea and I think it's great if it raises money for a worthy cause, but I don't feel the need to watch all my friends and random celebrities dump ice water on their heads. Plus, each video is said to be the "best yet!"- really???
So now I'm kind of avoiding watching them at all since I haven't seen any of them, it's almost like a game.

I love how on the internet every video is "THE BEST YET" or something you've "NEVER SEEN BEFORE" and I "WON'T BELIEVE THIS". Every. One.
So in spirit of the MIL FFFC's - I can only handle roughly 30 minutes of small talk and MIL wanted to visit today, so I told Chloe's nurse that I told MIL that she could only visit for 30, because when the baby's feeding started, we had to be quiet so as not to get her worked up during a feeding. Well, all that was a lie, lol - and the best part was the nurse (without me asking or knowing) comes in after we start the feeding and gives this big speech about how it was "quiet time" now, etc. Which, OK, we do keep it quiet in the room as a rule, lol, but not for just feedings. So MIL left on time and I never got snappy or cranky. All-in-all a good fib to save us all stress.

For some reason this post + your signature reminded me of Strax in the episode Demon's Run -
