They were trying to get me to pay a $2800.90 co pay today. I laughed and told them good luck with that. I had to call the company to get on their financial assistance program and they brought it down to a $25.00 co pay instead. Have you had any problems with them??
No it took like 5 mins over the phone and they just ask if you have had any previous pregnancies where you delivered before 37 weeks and if you are currently pregnant and what your annual income is and thats about it. It wasnt hard at all.
They tried to not approve mine.. they have a NASTY repetition of pulling any stunt, cost, paperwork issues etc until 20weeks if you try to start them prior. the studies bases the usage on starting at 16 weeks but their reviews and even the pharmacy that I used confirmed that they try to push it out FARRRRRR. And even if you start later than 16 weeks they are said to try to delay it further with "complications" in the hopes you get to a "viable" standing and just go without... the reviews are TERRIBLE!!! And in my instance they gave me a new excuse every two days LITERALLY for 4 weeks before they would release my meds that were called in at 12 weeks!! And they tried to charge me $4,000 for the ONE vial to by pass waiting for the "complications" to be resolved and then I could "hope" for reimbursement *smh*
Yeah it has been a run around for me. They dont cooperate very well and they pretty much tell you "if you dont pay such and such amount then your shit out of luck and good luck with having a preterm baby hope all goes well" i was livid. My nurse at the ultrasound clinic was the one that told me to ask about the assistance program cause i guess a lot of people dont know about it.
