If you can't tell where I love live from my sig, then I don't know what to tell you.
Philly for lyfe.
@Joy2611 How do you like it? I can't wait to get out!
No! Why??
I love Philadelphia. I absolutely love it. I've lived in other cities (namely Boston) and I don't think they hold a candle to the awesomeness of Philly.
I guess it depends where in the city you live. I personally would enjoy living on the countryside in a quiet rancher with a shit ton of land and animals. And not pay ridiculous city taxes.
What I absolutely LOVE about Philly (certain neighborhoods) is the closeness, the feeling of family and security. I love seeing all the neighborhood kids outside playing basketball together and knocking on each other doors to come out and play.

Oh, definitely - Philly is very neighborhood-y and certain neighborhoods are more fun than others.
I was in University City for three years, then Center City for five years, and now out in Fairmount (second year). We bought a house over there, just a few blocks from the Art Museum. It feels very suburban to me compared with Center City and may or may not have cried when I realized how quiet it was, but our neighbors are lovely and our house is great. Eventually we'll either move back to Center City or - what I really want - is one of those old, amazing homes in Society Hill. We'll see!
Are you moving soon? Or no? You said "I can't wait to get out!"
Yeah, we are in the Lower Northeast. Right now, we aren't planning on moving anytime soon because we are tired of moving. We are renting a beautiful house right now and don't want to move until we are able to buy. We are reminded every time we go to Walmart how much we would like to get out.

The state where supposedly everyone is nice. MN nice!!
Nice, maybe. I've met nicer people in Alabama than here in Minny, we're passive aggressive. Whereabouts do you live?

I live where there are 23 year billionaires, rampant homelessness and naked people, kombucha on tap, and where if you find a 1bdrm apt for <$3000/mo everyone is shocked by the "good deal" you found. Still one of the best cities in the world, if you ask me.
@ramaholic forgive me but how am I your nemesis? I'm trying to figure out where you live based on yor riddle (I said I wasn't good at them!).
On a side note I have always wanted a nemesis...
Haha, I'm playing. Though now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure you mean Victoria and not Vancouver, in which case you are not automatically my nemesis.
...but we can totally be nemeses anyway, 'cause they're fun. :P

Where I live it's cold 10 months out of the year, the birthplace of the Bloody Ceaser, and for 10 days in July hundreds of thousands of tourists take over our city.
I live in tornado alley where people ask if we all live in teepees.
Oklahoma? I know I heard a bunch of that when I lived in Kansas.

Woop woop! My dad is still active-duty Army, he's retiring in a few months! I always vowed never to marry a soldier but, oh well. "> DH is an Army kid, too, but he got cooler places growing up-- He lived in Japan for two years! I don't remember Germany at all So the "where are you from" question is a loaded one for me!
