@casey78 i'm sorry about the puking have you figured out how to completely dismantle the car seat for cleaning purposes? Pretty much all the parts of ours come off and go through the washing machine.
That's one of the things I'm worried about with daycare - if they have a puke policy, he will never be able to go. Surely they would work with us on that?

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Off to the gym... It's so much harder now that summer is coming to an end and it's about time to start preparation for operation winter hibernation. There as a lot of "tion" in that last sentence.
In the winter there could be times where I don't even leave the house for days, it's too cold. I know VA is a lot less cold in the winter than other places where some of you all live but it's still cold. I'm going to have to get my butt in gear this winter, though. I'm sure Haddock won't appreciate being cooped up. Maybe I'll send him to @lizabethann06 's for the winter
PSL season is also coming at Starbucks. Those nearly kill all my work during the summer months. 8->
DD is napping and I noticed the camera was moving by itself, which freaked me out. We just got this new camera last night so it was only my second time using it. Then I hear voices and DD does too. She stood and was staring at the camera. I got so nervous and realized it was DH. He has the app on his phone so he can see DD too and was playing with her camera at work. I called him and said shut off the mike, you woke DD. He is lucky she went back to sleep because if she only napped 45 minutes, I would be in for a long day!
I am so incredibly touched by the actions of one of my friends on Facebook. I've never met her in real life, but she considers herself Peanut's (my corgi) godmother as she was there when she was born and she always bottle-fed Peanut when the owner was out of town moving their kennel from FL to GA.
Anyway, this wonderful person contacted a non-profit that helps raise funds for dogs and families in need who are struggling financially and the lady who helps her son run this organization contacted me asking for a bunch of details because they were going to put up a fundraising page for Peanut after this friend of mine contacted them and told them Peanut's story.
I still get teary eyed when I think of what they've done and people have been so generous about spreading the link around and someone even donated $500! I'm blown away.

My day is officially made.
Aw that is so nice! I just started getting a little weepy myself Thinking of your little Peanut!
Thank you @Caitable25! She seems to be in good spirits today. I think I'll be taking them to the dog park this evening if there are no rain clouds around. It's amazing how precious time is when there is suddenly an end line in sight. I can't even imagine what it would feel like for those who lost someone they are close to, but I know a pet is a hard one.
I went on a tour of a women and childrens transition house yesterday and listened to a talk on restorative justice (it was all for work). It was very eye opening and interesting. I learned a lot.
We are on a serious blueberry kick over here too. Makes for fun poop (I call it the bloops)

My child has suddenly decided that fish other than salmon is a no-go. Lame. Oh well. He cleaned up his plate of steamed veggies and the fruit salad and even nommed on some bread. If I give him a spoon of peanut butter, that should suffice for protein, right? Lol He's become so picky in his old age
Are you guys sick of hearing about every bite my kid eats yet?
Because he just ate an entire piece of buttered toast - homemade bread from my mom's Mennonite friend so extra calorie-dense and all natural. And then he ate some more inner peas and now we are cooking rice.

I am obsessed with peaches. I brought one to work every day so far. I've only been here an hour and I've already devoured it.
Last year while I was pregnant and at the beach, I ate at least 3 peaches a day.
My SO's mom has an abundance of peaches right now for some reason? We've been eating them like crazy and they're so good! I could make a pie out of them but that would just destroy their deliciousness, I think.
Aww man @casey78 I hope little Leah is okay. Team melon, team cantaloupe, team eggplant. My neighbors got into some kind of domestic dispute last night which woke my kid up at 1am. (:|
Today is the first day Zoe is at DHs cousins. While she is family, she is not close family and Zoe has only ever spent the day with close family. MIL, FIL , my mom or my sister. Or even DHs grandma. This is his cousin through marriage.
I most certainly trust her though! I just hope Zoe does okay.

I just read all SPAM pages...I missed you guys! Work is getting in the way with my bump time. I got to take a break because my new computer is a piece of crap and currently boxed up so when Liam wakes up we can return it. Liam has been asleep for over two hours, I refuse to wake him but I have errands. He has had breathing issues so, I want him to rest up. Work has been fun but slightly exhausting especially with trying to move states too. How have you guys who also started working this week during? I can't remember full screen names to tag.
I'm feeling jealous of all the good eaters out there! DD is on a food strike and pretty much only wants wcm and we stopped b-fing so she's not getting much variety in terms of nutrition. This girl is being so picky all of a sudden!
