When should you send out the shower thank you notes?
I know this is probably a dumb question, but I'm kind of a baby shower virgin.
ETA: Not sure if it makes a difference, we do not plan to send out birth announcements or any other types of mail correspondence.

I'm planning on getting those puppies banged out on my lunch hour at work as soon as the shower is over (September 21) so I don't have to think about them again. The longer you put them off, the harder they get!
My SIL hasn't sent out thank you notes for her wedding yet- it was last November. I know technically you have a year, but I think it becomes less of a priority.
@kyliedaniellexx you should come and be a part of DH's family. MIL sends us a thank you card for everything, even when we go to HER house for dinner. It's awkward.

My shower is September 21. I took off work on the 22nd to organize and get stuff in order, and also to get as many of the thank yous done as possible. Admittedly, I am kind of horrible with thank yous. But I vow to be good this time!
I also want to do the photo Christmas card thing...if I have my shit together enough to get them done while being a FTM with zero prior baby experience.
