FTM 15w2d and not wearing maternity anything yet but need to.  I have 1 pair of non-maternity capris that still fit but that's about it for pants and I have been wearing them a lot.  Hopefully it stays warm for a little while longer, over the weekend it was a little chilly and I tried wearing my normal jeans and that only lasted long enough to go to the grocery store and put groceries away. Around the house I have been wearing stretchy waist band shorts and capris, I am a nurse and luckily my scrubs still fit for work.  I have tried on maternity jeans and have not found any that fit, I already have a have a hard time finding non-maternity jeans that fit (I have big thighs and my waist is smaller so I have a hard time finding pants that fit both parts well) so I am not looking forward to the long hunt for fitting maternity jeans.  Hopefully I find something with stretch that isn't too expensive.

  • 13 weeks tomorrow, 3rd baby- I can get away in some regular pants yet (one pair of capris and one pair of shorts), my jeans are maternity though. I haven't been able to fit in my regular jeans for weeks now. No shirts- I really don't care for maternity shirts, so I usually wear stretchy regular ones. I have a few, but they aren't very flattering.
  • I'm 13w4d along with our first little bean! I'm definitely in that awkward transitional phase. My pants are too tight and confining to be comfortable in, but I'm not really in maternity yet. I did buy a pair of maternity leggings - so comfy! And some shorts for this weekend, because I know my old ones won't be all that cute with a right button! Right now, I'm living in a few flowier/looser dresses that are fitted on top but leave a little room for a bigger belly. It actually is kind of difficult to be in between! Instead of feeling pregnant, I just feel fatter.
  • I'm 15 weeks today and yesterday I realized my jeans need to be put in a shelf. I've been showing for weeks now but now it's effecting my wardrobe. Next week I'm going shopping and until then I have one pair of maternity jeans and a bunch of maxi skirts and some palazzo pants. Let the fun times begin.
  • Also, what's the belly band?! How have I not found out about this yet? I think I might have seen it at target - is it a stretchy white (or other colors maybe) band that goes around your pants to hold them up? Some people also seem to be referring to something that just goes around the button and button hole. Help me out, please! This could change my life.
  • 15wks. FTM.

I've kind of been 1/2 and 1/2.  No real maternity tops needed yet.  I had lost like 30 lbs prior to pregnancy, so if my regular shirts are too snug, I have some just larger ones that I use.

Pants however.. have been very hit and miss.  I'm a plus size girl to start but have never carried my weight in my stomach.  I'm all booty and thighs.  I started wearing some of the maternity pants this week, as all of my pants that have hooks or buttons.. just ain't cutting it anymore.

  • I'm 16w 1d with my second.

I'm in some maternity bottoms but regular shirts, but that's mostly just because it's what I have available at the moment.  Also wearing flowy or empire waist dresses and fold-over waist skirts.

I popped late with DS so unfortunately most of my maternity clothes are pants and long sleeved shirts.  Uh, yeah, it's August in LA, that's not happening.  I have a couple of pairs of shorts and I just ordered another pair and some short sleeved shirts that should be here on Friday.

  • I'm 15 1/2 weeks with Baby #3 (first two are twins). I am in maternity clothes. I can still wear non-maternity shirts if I want to but I often just wear my maternity shirts. I can't wear regular pants except sweatpants and lower rise yoga pants. Other than that, I wear maternity pants. I can still wear normal dresses as long as they have an empire waist or no waist line.

  • 15 weeks, with my first. I'm wearing maternity bottoms and new bras. The maternity bottoms are so much more comfortable!
  • I got mine at buy buy baby and I returned it. I have a curvy body and it rolls up on me.
  • 14w+3 FTM.  I finally broke down today and am rocking a pair of maternity legging.  Not wearing maternity tops yet.  I have plenty of loose tunics and dresses to hide the bump.  I plan on wearing my new clothes at 16 weeks+, that's if the b(l)ump doesn't double in size suddenly.

  • I don't wear maternity shirts at all even at the end of my pregnancies. I just wear longer non maternity and blousy stuff.

Right now I'm just getting into maternity pants at 15 weeks, stm
  • I am 16 weeks along with my second.  Not into Maternity clothes YET but I am getting close.  Currently wearing jeans from after my first child.  However my maternity clothes have been washed and are in my closet as they are in my super near future....the pants are the best!  So darn comfy.

  • Jealous of all you moms with baby bumps! I can't wait to get a baby bump. I'm already a big girl, so I am hoping to look pregnant soon. My jeans are getting snug and I have a few maternity tops that I've tried on just to see how they look. In normal clothes however I see maternity pants in my near future.
  • I will be 15 weeks tomorrow with twins. These are my 1st & 2nd! I am in full blown maternity but I could probably still wear some of my stretchy non maternity shirts. I like the way maternity shirts make my bump look like babies instead of too many tacos, though!

Sometimes, depending on the bloat. The maternity jean are comfy. If I wear my regular jeans, I need to do the rubber band trick or I would have serious muffin top issues.

ETA: (this is my 5th pregnancy) 2nd baby?? I dont know how to answer that....

  • I was so busy at work I didn't even get to answer my own question!!

    14 weeks on Friday

    2nd babe

I've mostly been wearing dresses to work because I haven't announced. Ill probably go full blown maternity in a week or two! All of my mat clothes are fall/winter so I am praying for cooler weather. I am really not interested in buying any clothes!
  • I'm 16 weeks and baby #1. I can still wear my regular clothes, although the Times where I know I will be sitting for a while, I will wear my maternity jeans bc they are so comfy! I tried wearing a maternity tee the other day and it was ginormous still.

  • Third child and 15 +2. Been wearing yoga pants and started using a belly band. Dresses and stretchy skirts have been my friend as well. Haven't really needed maternity shirts yet but they're right around the corner for sure, especially since I'm not a fan of super tight clothes. Everything "popped" so much faster this time!

I am 12w3d, 1st baby and just got my maternity pants in the mail... They are flipping amazing!!! Why has no one ever told me about them!! Lol I am in between but the maternity jeans are heven I think I'll switch over sooner!
  • 13 weeks, I've been wearing maternity pants/shorts since about 9 weeks. I had some major bloat while on vacation and felt so much more comfortable in them. Now my jeans are starting to get tight and I feel so much better in maternity jeans. I have some maternity shirts, but they make me look really pregnant and I'm not ready to announce it to the parents at the school I teach at, yet. I've been wearing a lot of flowy shirts. I've had a few moms look at my stomach with a questioning look!
  • This is my third, I'm 13&1/2 weeks. I had to start with either maternity pants or a belly bad around 9 weeks :/ I haven't gained anything but I have this tummy. I showed really early with my first two as well.
