Signs of labor?

Sorry if someone has previously posted about this!

Yesterday I was all energetic and into the cleaning mode of things and today I have done absolutely nothing but laid in bed and slept. I know that it's probably just my body resting, but I was curious as to if any STMs had experienced this before labor. I also have felt achy and irritable. I have had slight cramping, almost like I'm coming down with the flu.

Again, sorry if someone had previously posted this! I was just curious.

Sorry to tell you this but those are all normal third trimester symptoms and they are not likely to go away. You're probably going to be dealing with them until LO gets here. There are tons of posts on this board already with the exact same question so you might want to just read some of those posts.

This has been posted about. Many, many times. A general search would have told you as much. The general consensus is a) all normal symptoms of 3rd tri and b) we have know way of knowing if you're going to go into labor. Even if someone else felt the exact same way before their labor... every woman is different.

There is a checklist of symptoms. If you say yes to any of the following you might be in labor or it is imminent:
-45 minutes of unknown diarrhea
-Very tired
-Lost your mucus plug
-So uncomfortable, so much so that you are considering being induced even if you aren't full term.
If none of these apply please check back as the list will continue to grow and be updated daily. Thank you

Scroll to the bottom of the page when you're looking at the thread titles. There's a little search box at the bottom. (Idk if the android app looks different, but that's where it is for iPhone.)

I think you forgot... if you are peeing a lot, you might be in labor.

No, I think that would be...if you are peeing a lot...more so than the water you've tooken in.

The "am I in labor" question is seriously old like PPs have already told you. We are not randos' personal Google, we are a community that has built friendships over the course of our pregnancies. We are not against new comers, we have some pretty awesome members that arrived only recently, but we don't really like it when people come in and treat us like we're all just sitting here eagerly waiting to answer their questions. Support is a two way street.

Looking at your own posting history... you are currently more of a taker than a giver. You only have two comments that are not on your own posts, one of them being this WK attempt. Try not to judge the ladies of this board before participating a little more.

@babe5218 - As far as someone who runs the board saying "no FTM's will ask about...." - this is a public forum and no one can say what can and cannot be asked no matter how irritating we may find it. That having been said, there is an AWESOME thread stickied bearing the title, "READ ME FIRST" or something to that effect which, unless I'm mistaken, clearly outlines what is causing our frustration.

To be fair, @babe5218‌ asked the labor question on third tri, not here. They are more used to drive bys there, but calling your doctor is the best advice any rational person can give.

Idk why people are so rude on here. My guess is they sit on this site all day long.. that's the only reason I can think of why they get so upset over what other people post. Who cares if it's the same question someone else has posted. Isn't that what these boards are for? I'm so tired of bitchy pregnant woman bashing others.

No, that isn't what these boards are for. To be honest with you, I've never seen a description of what these boards are for. But my interpretation is that they are for making my life entertaining not replacing my OB. But what do I know.
