How soon after c/s did you eat?

I had been in labor for 42 hours before my csection. Hadn't eaten for 36 hours and hadn't slept at all. He was born at 112 pm and I had water, juice, and a coke in recovery. Then ordered hot wings for dinner. They told me to eat whatever whenever I could.

Mine started around 1145 baby was out at 1154. I was in my room by 1am and I was able to eat when they brought lunch trays in at 730am. I was on mag as well. I actually had to stay on it for another day and a half after giving birth.

C/s was at 7:30, I was eating lunch that day. No restrictions for me.

My c/s was scheduled for noon so I had to stop food/ drink at midnight the night before. C/s took place at closer to 2 pm then noon... and I became violently ill from the pain meds... a nurse let me have some crackers around 2 am the next day... so just over 26 hours after I had eaten last.

I was SO thirsty and hungry after my Csection. In the recovery room they agreed to give me a little bit of ice, but they didn't want me to puke so they were being stingy with it lol. After that, they let me have soup and ice cream for the first 24 hours until I was able to have solids again.
