Sad to leave (loss mentioned)

While I have not posted much I have been lurking for the past two months and have found a lot of support and information here and for that I am thankful. Unfortunately, yesterday at 11w2d I started having some brown spotting and I just knew something was wrong. I called my OB and went in for an us. Saw a baby measuring 8w5d and no heartbeat. I am heart broken and devastated. Have to have a D&C this afternoon and I'm so scared and don't know what to expect. Just want to thank you ladies for all the info and support and wish all of you H&H pregnancies!

I am so sorry for your loss. For me, while emotionally difficult, the actual d&c procedure was quick and painless. Physical recovery was not bad. Emotionally was the toughest part. I hope it is the same for you. Take care of yourself.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a D&C in April and physically, it was very quick and painless. Mentally, it was quite a bit tougher than I imagined. I hope you recover quickly. Be sure to get a lot of rest afterwards. Hugs.

Thank you everyone and thank you to those who shared their D&C experience. It made me feel better knowing others who have experienced it say it's not that bad. I hope to be back in a birth month club soon. Wishing you all the best.
