Here's mine. I have three rings. The engagement band and two "wedding" bands. DH gave me one band the night before we got married after the rehearsal dinner. He said he felt like we were already married and wanted to give me a band just us, to show the private commitment we had made. The other band was for the actual wedding with everyone in attendance.

Random rant: My mom really pissed me off last night. She and my dad have been bugging us about when we're going to get married, so she sends me a text asking if my dad needs to call my SO and talk about the wedding. I asked her what she meant and she asked if there was going to be one. I was like, yes when we're ready to get married, and she said she hopes she could be there. It's not like she can just drop everything and be there if we tell them Monday that we're getting married on Saturday. I said she was acting like she wasn't going to be a part of the planning process. Then she proceeded to tell me that she apparently needs to lower her expectations because people these days don't always do what you expect them to. I was like wow I'm sorry I didn't live up to your expectations! We're going to get married but we're going to do it when WE want to do it, not because we're being pressured into it. I also told her it's not fair for her to try and pressure us into making a decision like that when we're not ready for it. She said she was sorry and she hopes I'm still speaking to her. I was like, dramatic much? She finally said she would love to help but only if we ask. She was really skirting the line between pushy and offensive and it really upset me how she was being! The worst part is, my mom has been so supportive up to this point! I just don't think it's fair to try and push someone to get married just because they are having a baby. Sorry things didn't work out the way we originally wanted it to but I'm still so thrilled to have a healthy baby growing inside me!

Also, congrats to those of you who have had good appointments today! Fx for those who have appointments coming up!

@meladoriestar‌ No advice, just hugs. I'm in the same boat. I finally started exercising more & that has helped a bit, but it's been pretty shitty since 5-6 wks. I'm sorry you're struggling & aren't allowed to exercise! I'd be in a padded room if they took my bike away.

My midwife said I could go back on Lexapro if I need to, so we'll see... I just want to be a happy pregnant lady!

I'm currently waiting for my oil change & pretending to plan this week's meals... but then I saw everyone's gorgeous rings & had to share mine! @SNLT1012‌ I'm so excited for you!!

Here are mine! The band was my grandmothers wedding band. That's the ring he proposed with (he was still in school and my mum offered it to him). He bought the ring in front for the wedding day.

It was a little different than the norm but it's so special to be wearing my grandmothers ring every day.

@jessuhmarie I actually have that one favorited right now. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I would feel like my ring is uneven on side when I add in the wedding band. And that ring would be almost $100 more for my fat fingers from that seller and IDK, I could get a fat kid ring from other sellers for the same price as a skinny girl's ring.

Now I really hate my coworker (the Fuck Face that I've mentioned before). He forgot to submit a project 3-4 MONTHS AGO. He doesn't even remember exactly. Apparently he got distracted on a Friday afternoon and just completely forgot about it. Now he wants me to bust my ass to get it done because my director needed it like...3-4 months ago.

I'm seriously not going to try that hard to get it done. With my appointment tomorrow and lunch, I'll be lucky to be at work for 4 hours. Then I'm leaving on Friday for a whole week. It'll get done eventually, but I'm not going to work any harder to help a douche bag out. Good luck, sucka.

Love the rings!! My hubby did a good job with mine I felt like he really knew my tastes. I like vintage. Please ignore the hideous star tattoo, unfortunately I felt it was a great idea to tat my ex's name on my ring finger n had to have it covered. ( dh is so sweet he went and got an ugly star on his finger too to make me feel better)

@jessuhmarie I'm taking my maiden name as my middle name as well. I asked when we went to get our marriage license if the woman knew how to go about doing that and she said to just let them know at the SS office and the DMV.

Was it really that easy for you to change your middle name? It seems like there would be more legalities to it than just "hey, can you change my shitty middle name to this cooler one?"

It really is that easy. I did the exact same thing - Last name became Middle, crappy middle name went to hell. You just fill out a form with your new name, with a marriage license they do not seem to care what you do with your name.

I LOVE seeing everyone's rings!!!!!!

I didn't think I was going to have one - but my husband surprised me big time.

Excuse my bloated hand - and the multiple ring thing is somewhat of a tradition in his family.

The engagement (top)ring is a 1860 estate ring with India old mine diamonds.

The bottom ring is my original wedding band made from scrap family jewelry by a local jeweler. The second was a gift with our wedding colors. The third is a second wedding ring he surprised me with at our ceremony because he didn't like the first. I'll get a matching one to go on top of the engagement ring after the babe is born.

What beautiful rings! I want to play.

Mine is a two-tone and I love it more than I thought I would. The center is a gold band solitaire which was our engagement ring. It was DH's grandmother's engagement ring :x The wrap is a white gold with diamond chips that I picked for myself for the wedding band. H's "matches" with a silver titanium band and a strip of gold around the center.

ETA: Made it a little bigger.

Usually chat doesn't get moving much until 9 EST. Us east coasters get screwed because all of you are in there being like - oh, I have to go eat dinner or something and I'm like ...damn, it is 11:00 here!! I usually go into chat between 8:30 and 9:30 and stay until 10 or 11. That's EST though. And that is usually when it is most active, but we have had some good conversations go until the wee hours EST before...

So it varies!

I'll likely be in my usual time. Around 9:00ish EST.

Oh! I want to play the ring game! The engagement ring is vintage, purchased from an antique jeweler. The part I love most is that the sides look like the base of the Eiffel Tower turned upside down. The band is new, just something simple that sort of echoes the intricacies of the e ring.
