Today I chose the uppababy vista

And Mesa car seat combo. I like the way it handles and it's one hand release is awesome. Anyone use it? Anyone care? Lalala. It comes with a pram/bassinet, which is cute. I went into bbb thinking I would go w the b-safe, b-agile system, but this one is way sleaker.

  • I am a proud uppababy vista user for DS and will be using the same system for this LO. We purchased in 2012 before they made a car seat so we have the maxi cosi and loved both for DS. We had no luck with him sleeping in the bassinet so that was sort of a waste but that was just a fussy baby, not the product.

  • Sweet. @Ainslie325‌ - I was playing w the rumble seat. It seems like there's not a ton of room back there. You like it? Were you able to use it in addition to the car seat, or only w the umbrella seat?

  • I had a vista with DS and adored it. Loved the bassinet and the extra sun shade and the large basket and and and. But I'm not a fan of the rumble seat, I don't like the in-line style so I will be using a city select double when DS2 arrives. If DS was going to be older when DS2 arrives then I would have just used the vista with the glider board.

  • We have a Vista too. Can't wait to use it!
  • @NikkiMN143 since the stroller is so expensive I would consider possibly the red. I'm only offering this advice because when we purchased it for DS we had no plans of having a second child then decided a year and a half later we were going to. I'm glad we went with all black with it because if this one had been a girl the original navy I was going to purchase would have bugged me for LO. Totally unsolicited advice, just thought I'd share :)

  • Haha @NikkiMN143 that's totally legit. We liked the all black one because DH is really into cars and he calls it his "murdered out ride." I also liked the versatility with all black because with either a girl or a boy it can be cute either way. In hindsight I kind of wish I had gone with the red for no reason other than I like red lol. I do agree that navy and pink are cute together too, these decisions are tough!

  • The red is killer in person. The navy seemed a little "blah" to me. I mean, if you're going for the hot convertible, it might as well be red, right???? That said, I'm going with black. It's super sleek. And I'm superficial with my toys.

  • @Crysteen welcome to the all black vista club. We love ours and it looks brand new because nothing shows on it. I firmly stand by our all black decision!

can you fold the stroller with one hand, how is the ease of use on ubv?

  • It's a two-hand folder, but it's super easy and stands by itself (I don't know what she's saying in the video, I watched on mute )

  • I own an Uppababy Vista 2007 edition in Lindsey and I can't even tell you how much I love it. We have a maxi cosi mico in black and bought the attachments for it. Since this is baby number two we now need the attachment rumble seat to create a double stroller. I don't even need to buy a whole new stroller. I'm so happy with my Uppababy. It's super easy to use, super light, I could literally fold it and open it with one hand. The only thing I would have changed is the color. Lindsey is almost white and gets dirty so easily I have to clean it all the time. Other then that I love it.
  • I am getting the Vista (in red) with the Maxi Cosi car seat (apparently lightest on the market!) I'm SO excited to start using both.
