Happy Monday, ladies! I'm still in 2WW land, but not for long. I had my beta pushed up one day to 8/19, so I can go on a last minute business trip to Amsterdam. I'm looking forward to the trip, I should have some free time in the evenings, and after 4:00 pm on Sunday, but it would be nice if the timing weren't so bad. No idea if I'll be getting on a plane for an 8.5 hour trip with BFN sobs or BFP elated-ness.... or that weird in-between land.... but, whaddyagonnado?

QOTD: As summer ends, I'm already beginning to miss those extra hours of daylight, but I love the cool weather of fall, and all of the fall produce (squash, apples, leeks.... time to get your bake on!)

Morning TOs!

@gsancho‌ Thanks for checking in on me in the previous thread. I just saw it this morning so I figured I'd update in the new post.

I had my ER yesterday. Dr told me we might get 4-7 eggs. I told him I guessed 6. He got 9!! He even wrote it on my hand for when I woke up lol.

Waiting for my phone call today with my fert report. I started on Vivelle patches for my lining. This week is going to be hell - each day's report will decide what the next step will be. I'm hoping for a response from my lining and a good number of eggs to fertilize and grow.

QOTD: I'll miss the long, hot summer days by the pool and BBQs with friends. Fall brings cooler sleeping (and running) weather. And I love the color changing leaves, wine, and cider.

@AuroraP725‌ Your RE is super cool! Love the note on your hand and what a nice surprise.

Epic fail on my part. After saying that I would try to go beta or bust, guess who tested and got a BFN 6dp5dt?? H wanted to stop in the drug store and a force stronger than myself pulled me to that aisle.

Telling myself that was too early and we shall see what happens Thursday. Going to throw myself into work today to conquer the negativity.

QOTD: I LOVE sweaters, so FALL is my fav season.

@AuroraP725‌ I absolutely hated those days after ER waiting on the phone calls. I had to drink a mimosa or 2 every morning to help with my nerves. FX for you!!!

And me .... Just waiting like I have been doing since June. 1 more week to see when my FET is. I'm hoping this ungodly amount of EWCM is a sign of awesome lining.

QOTW: I guess I'll miss most about summer is my Sunday Fundays. We just hang out by the pool and drink "beach in a cup", which is Malibu rum and diet cream soda. I like the low humidity of fall. I live in the south so we don't really have seasons but it does get cooler around oct/nov.

Good morning, a bit late in posting. I'm officially out of Tropical Ovaries, and will jump into the September Sweet Peas. I only had 1 follie on CD2, so we decided to hold off till next month to see if there's a better starting number. I have been under way more stress than usual for the past two weeks. My FI & I have a chiropractic practice and our only other employee, our rehab person, has been out due to emergency surgery. So I've been running our physical rehab, as well as managing front desk duties.... A lot for one person to do, hence the stress. So all in all - it's better to wait. Best wishes to all and I will continue to follow along.

QOTW: Nothing - I am looking forward to fall! I feel fortunate up here in the north east - August has seemed like fall so far. Had to put a jacket on to walk the dog this morning

AFM: getting really close to beta time (Wednesday)...yikes!

QOTD: Summer: I will miss warm weather (although this was a very cool summer in Toronto/Ontario), not working (teacher), loooong days (not dark until after 9 pm), bbq's, flip flops, patios....pretty much everything, I LOVE summer

Fall: I look forward to sweaters, light jackets, scarves, beautiful colours and scenery, getting back to work, warm beverages, squash, soups, chilies....I love Fall too (lol)

Just waiting for the call to schedule my ET for tomorrow (5dt). I'm still feeling tired and sore but I'm hoping that goes away soon.

I just noticed that I'm listed as aliciafiggy and alicia1834. Both of those names are me! I don't know how that happened?

QOTW: I will miss walking out the door without having to put a coat on. I'm excited for the Fall to come for pies, apple picking, and hopefully pregnancy

I am just patiently waiting for my beta bright and early on Wednesday morning.

QOTW: I am excited about Fall. We live on the 2nd floor of an old 1901 house, that gets quite hot in the summer. Only a handful of windows open, and we just have one window A/C unit in the guest room. Can't wait for the cooler fall weather!

The month of boredom has begun! I have a 1 cycle rest before the FET so I am glad my period was on time but on the other hand I have no chance of pregnancy so I am a little cranky. Our appointment to talk FET with our Dr. is tomorrow so I guess that is something. ;(

What are some fun ways to keep occupied on an off cycle?

I am already planning my spring cleaning.

QOTW: I am looking forward to the end of summer I hate all these long sunny days (I am so weird). It has been a beautiful summer this year but I need darkness and rain and gloom.

Very busy weekend for me! Had monitoring on Saturday and Sunday. (I'm on day 8 of stims) I'm responding very well to everything. estrogen went from 181 on thurs-587 on sat-882 on sun. Lining looks good at 12.6. I have 16 follicles in each side that they can see. They measured 7 in each side between 14 and 11 mm.

Started Cetrotide last night and had an awesome reaction to it at the site! Within 5 min, the area got red, bumpy, itchy and hot. The nurse on call wasn't concerned and said to keep an eye in it. Same thing happened this morning when I took the second dose but not as bad. Guess my body doesn't like it! Lol

I don't feel very bad at all so far! The nausea during BCP was way worse. I'm a little sleepy and I feel my ovaries getting heavy- esp when I walk but it's not as bad as I was anticipating!

Back tomorrow for monitoring

I love the coolness, changing of the leaves, football, wearing sweatshirts on the weekends and the decorations that go along with fall ! My fav season!

@calbiz I think it's still too early @SillySally24 sorry you'll leave our group, but hopefully September is your lucky month.

The last 24 hours have been a roller coaster. I'm physically ok, although I joke that my body is rejecting all the hormones I put in. The PIO leaks back out after a shot (but I read that's sometimes normal??), and the E2 pills just give me smurf blue discharge.

But yesterday was a rough day b/c my DH's father passed. He was never in great health, but it was unexpected and there was some suspicious activity with his caretaker. I broke my REs bed rest rule and drove (I wasn't going to let DH drive an hour and a half in his state) out to where his father lived. I laid on the couch most of the day, but between the police, the coroner, helping DH after seeing the body...it was pretty draining. At the same time, I would have been an even worse ball of stress if I had stayed home and not known what was happening. I came back late last night and will rest up today as much as possible.

As far as the E2 pills, no one told me about this side effect the first time I took them, I freaked out at first.

Thanks @Pintobean39 ! The crazy thing is that my grandfather passed a month ago yesterday. But when my grandfather passed, within the same hour of his death, my best friend's water broke and she went into labor. Yesterday, about 30 minutes before we got the call from the neighbor that paramedics were at the house, I felt some funny cramping and was hoping it was the bebes getting comfortable. So in my crazy head, that's what's giving me comfort

Just hanging out here doing next to nothing. Tonight is the LAST night for my Lupron though! WOOT WOOT. Estrogen goes to three times a day tomorrow.

QOTW: I will miss the relaxing days of not working (teacher) and the ability to sleep in the last month. I did teach summer school the first six weeks, so I've only been really lazy the last three weeks. I LOVE fall. It's our birthdays, our anniversary, cooler weather, apple cider, and pumpkin lattes.

@gsancho‌ that gave me chills.

My husbands grandmother died right after ER. I had a crazy dream the night before she died that I was in her room talking to her and I told her I was pregnant. She was all excited! My MIL told me later she actually told her that we were doing IVF and had embryos frozen. Even though she had Alzheimer's she understood her that day. If we have a girl were naming her after my husbands grandmother.

So, my RE just called and said we have 6 to freeze! I asked if I should get another call when the freezing process is over and he said no, because they have a 96% freeze rate. This from a cycle that was nearly cancelled. I really can't believe it and am so damn grateful. Beta is on the 26th, which is also the first day of school (with students). I may actually manage beta or bust because of that. QOTD: I'll miss summer vacation, but honestly, I'm really looking forward to school starting, so...And my favorite part of fall is boots! And pumpkin pie.

I had my ER this morning, they got 19! I wasn't expecting that many so am quite pleased. 19 also happens to be my husband's favorite number (he was born on 8/19 and uses 19 for his sports jerseys, etc). It has to be a sign, right?

QOTD: After summer I will miss flip flops :-)

Hey ladies. Well I ovulated, so transfer is scheduled for Thurs. Started progesterone suppositories today and will be taking them twice a day. They will call me sometime on Wed to tell me what time to come in. Im very cool this time around.

QOTD: I am going to miss not wearing a jacket in the summer. For fall, like cool breezes :-)

@gsancho~ I'm very sorry for your loss. Such a stressful time for you.

@Kinderteach78~ Ganirelix (different brand of Cetrotide) gave me the same reaction. Put ice on the injection site for a while off and on. It seemed to help a lot. I would put 15 mins. on and off for a good hour after I gave the injection.

Because we all planned to go out on Maternity leave at the best possible time...so we don't have to come back for the end of the year!

My clinic told me that they call summer the "teacher time". Monitoring appointments are always in the am, and it's really impossible to take off that much time for monitoring while teaching without admin, parents and students wondering why you are gone for the better part of two weeks.

. Not to say that's not true of other jobs, but it does seem to be particularly difficult with teaching. Out of curiousity, does anyone have a clinic that does monitoring and bloodwork past 9:30 am?

Had my retrieval today and they got 15 eggs, 10 of which were mature. I'm really thrilled because with low ovarian reserve, I didn't know what to expect. DH has low sperm counts, so we're doing ICSI for all 10 eggs and hoping and praying they fertilize. I can't wait to get the update tomorrow, and then we'll wait to see if I'm a 3 day or 5 day transfer. I love fall, and looking forward to changing leaves, chili and soups, football season and pumpkin beer--although I'm hoping to stockpile some to drink later this spring in the hopes that I'm pregnant this fall

I have my ET tomorrow morning! I have 5 fertilized so now I need to decide if I want to transfer 1 or 2.

QOTD- I will miss my pool and easy breezy cotton sundresses. Fall and winter takes much more thinking and planning to get myself dressed in the morning

@LilyHarper‌ my clinic does monitoring and bw most of the day. When the us tech is out and one from another clinic has to come they stop them at 11 though, it's just not that often.

Hey Ladies -
Well tmrw is the big day for us. ER time!! To me it's like the night before Christmas and I can't sleep wondering how many "gifts" will be under the tree! Our first two cycles we retrieved three eggs. Doc told me to expect between 8-10 on Saturday. I think my jaw hit the floor. That would be amazing!! I will be happy with a few and the bonus will be anything more than 5. Fingers crossed!! >:D<

As for summer, I will miss my summer break! Back to school next Thurs! I am excited to see all the kids again though. I also love fall - soups, scarves, sweaters, snuggles.

Today is retrieval day wahoo!!! Getting ready to go in bright and early. Planning on calling in sick and relaxing the rest of the day. Do you think I need tomorrow off as well? No idea what to expect and how I might feel.

QOTD: I just love how refreshing fall, crispy, cool weather feels after a hot, sticky summer. But I must say that this summer has not been as hot as previous ones.

And I love sweaters, light jackets, scarfs like a lot of people said.
