How long after a fresh cycle can you do a frozen cycle?

Just out of curiosity.

Also, what is the "scope and sequence" (to get back into teacher talk) of the frozen cycle?  Like, fresh you go in on CD2 for an u/s, and then you stim and then you u/s, etc etc.  

Me: 27 DH: 27

October 2013: Endo erosion/ Clear HSG

March 2014: SA #1/  2%morph, borderline sperm count, decent motility

June 2014: SA#2/  2% morph, low sperm count, worse motility

Plan: "Quick Start IVF"/antagonist protocol with Follistim, Ganirelix, Ovidrel and progesterone suppositories (yay)

High AMH (11) and Low BMI= low doses of everything to prevent OHSS

July 27, 2014: Started Follistim injections for ten days

July 31, 2014: U/S= 20 follicles, 8.5 lining, E2 is good, Ganirelix for 4 days starting 8/2

August 4, 2014: 14 follicles on-track, good lining, Trigger 8/6

August 9, 2014: 9 ICSIed/ 5 embryos; aiming for a 5dt on 8/13

August 13, 2014: 5DT of 1 4BA almost-hatching blastocyst (Please hang in, Little Bug!)

August 14, 2014: We have 3 frosties! Hope they're having fun hanging out together. :)

August 23, 2014: Beta #1: 144 8/23/14: Beta #2: 374 Beta 8/25/14  Beta #3: 6,600 9/3/14

September 9, 2014: Ultrasound #1 115 heartbeats per minute

September 23, 2014: Ultrasound #2 182 heartbeats per minute 

September 26, 2014: Love my OB's office

October 10, 2014: Our baby looks like a baby and is moving all over!  

December 8, 2014: Anatomy scan- It's a girl!

    I started BCP for FET as soon as I got AF from fresh cycle.  Started Lupron after a couple weeks on BCP.  Weaned off BCP.  Went in for baseline, started estrace, a little over a week on estrace stopped lupron.  Lining check US.  Started PIO 5 days before FET.  Had transfer.  Continued estrace and PIO until beta.

    TTC #1 since November 2011
    Dx: Unexplained Infertility, probable endometriosis
    Feb-April 2013: Femara + TI: BFN
    May - September 2013:  Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#1-4 = BFN
    IVF # 1 November 2013: transferred 1 perfect blast = BFN
    IVF # 2 April 2014: Endo scrape, transferred 2 blasts = BFP!! (first ever!), CP
    FET #1 June 2014: transferred 2 blasts = BFFN
    New Dx: Repeat Implantation Failure
     IVF # 3 November 2014 = BFP!!  Beta #1 9dp5t 272  Beta # 2 11dp5dt 626

    Out of curiosity, do you know if BCP is a requisite of a frozen cycle? I didn't do BCP this round to avoid over-suppression.  Obviously that's not the issue during the frozen cycle, but I suppose there's something keeping you from ovulating along with your frozen cycle.  Or is that what Lupron is for?

    When I asked about FET calendars, pretty much everyone was doing something different.

    Lots of women didn't do BCP. It's a much more boring process. For me, I took lots of estrogen tablets and went it once a week to look at the lining. Yawn.

    I didn't take BCP. 1st FET I started with Lupron on day 21 and then added tons of estrogen tablets (and then Viagra due to thin lining). This time, I'm just on estrogen so far (no Lupron). I had a CP and had to wait for beta to get down to zero. Once that happened, I was able to start right away with the estrogen.

    The high level of estrogen alone in your system should suppress ovulation. The Lupron is sometimes added just as a safety net, I think. RE wanted me on it last time bc she anticipated it might be a long prep. Now that we know how my body responds, we are hoping it won't take as long!

    IVF #1 3/2014 - cancelled (early ovulation)
    IVF #1.2  ER 5/16/14: 23R 18F -  freeze all (12) due to concern for late onset OHSS 
    FET #1 in June - delayed due to thin lining, 7/18 SET (7.5 mm lining) resulted in chemical pregnancy
    FET #2 in Sept - 9/4 transferred 2 CCS tested embryos (6.5mm lining)
    9/13 beta #1 - 400, 9/15 beta #2 - 950, U/S 9/22 one gestational/yolk sac - next up 9/29
    3 frozen CCS tested embryos remaining

    pblge Does your clinic do assisted hatch with FETs? I read somewhere that some clinics really recommend it.  I'm wondering if I should push it. (I have such a bad feeling about my current cycle that I'm having to make a plan in my mind for what's next to cope... :( )

    My RE likes to wait one cycle after a fresh to give your body a chance to calm down after all the stims.  I started BC pills with my next period.  Then I started 20u of Lupron for one week, overlapped with the BC for about 4 days.   I had one ultrasound as a baseline (day 1), then Lupron went down to 5u for the next 10 days.  Estrace started once a day, then twice a day, working it's way up to now three times a day.  One baby aspirin a day. I'll have my second ultrasound (day 14) on Friday.  PIO shots start five days before transfer as well as taking doxy the days prior to ET. 

    It's been very slow and boring up until this point.

    @LO95 - Neither clinic I've gone to uses AH routinely. My understanding is that's something that mostly used for women of advanced age, so probs not something you need to worry about. ;-) Do you know the grades of your frosties? If they're 5 or 6 (depending on the grading scale), they're already hatching. And I totally understand your need for the back up plan, as I do the same. When is your beta?

    Good question @pblge. I have no idea.  I hope good. The nurses at my clinic are super annoying about not giving you specifics.  It frustrates me so much.  My beta is supposed to be Monday, but I'd really like to bump it to Saturday. I know 5dp5dt is very early, but I've seen ladies get one on here and so of course mine was negative today. :(

    That's my exact plan except I ovulated on birth control and lupron so I had to stay on 20units of lupron for another 3 weeks and instead of estrace I use vivelle patches.

    Fucking bump!!!!

    @LO95 - 5dp5dt is still pretty early! Mine didn't really turn positive this time until 8dp6dt, and even then it was very faint. Yes, some people get them earlier, but don't fret if you don't!
