Is anyone experiencing joint pain other than the typical stuff we're all experiencing with our hips? I've been starting to get joint pain in my thumb and index finger and bending them is becoming downright uncomfortable. Also worrisome is this is beginning to happen with the hand I primarily write with and typing is a little less fun.
Please forgive me if anyone as already brought this up, if you want to you can post a link to the other thread.
Re: Joint pain elsewhere...
A trick I've learned to manage carpal tunnel is to stand arms length away from a wall and place your palm flat on the wall, fingers up (talk-to-the-hand pose) and extend through your whole arm to press palm into the wall. It will be an intense stretch through your inner arm and wrist but hold and breathe deeply for atleast 20 seconds and keep that shoulder moving down away from your ear.
Then turn your palm 90degrees and hold in that position.
It helps immensely with carpal tunnel, just keep it up for a few days. I'm hoping it's a match for pregnancy induced carpal tunnel bc that's a whole different animal and I suffer from both!
