LO does nothing by halves.....

LO is day 2 of Hand, Food and Mouth and is miserable as a result. There are spots everywhere, even around is diaper area. On top of that, he has decided to cut 3 molars at the same time (1yr molars). He was the super teether for the first 8, getting 3 in one night but 3 molars..... oh my, times are very tough in my house right now.

I feel I have him meds all the time, but he is a sad sorry case right now. We have the teething necklace, clove oil for the gums, and I just got some Hyland's teething tablets to give them a try. This is going to be a rough few days.

Any ideas from when a molar starts to show through until it appears fully?

Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    Oh goodness. LO has it rough right now huh? Which means you do too. I have heard that even though molars are bigger, they don't hurt as much since they aren't sharp.

    Hopefully LO feels better soon. And those teeth pop through quickly.

    I'd give him ibuprofen as needed. HFM can be quite painful. My guy usually just finds few days that teeth actually cut through gums to be painful. GL.

    I would also suggest giving the Hylands tabs as well as the ibuprofen right now. Poor guy :( I hope things improve soon!

    We went through HFM at the end of the school year. We wound up rotating between Tylenol and Advil to keep him less miserable. As far as the molars go, we've been having a rough time with them since multiple points need to break through. But the meds might help with that. We gave DS lots of things like italian ice because of the mouth sores and yucky teeth! He really had no appetite for about a week. Oddly, as the blisters looked worse I think they felt better because he was in a much better mood after just a few days. Best of luck - it's not fun for anyone!!

    Oh no! H got all four molars at once so I don't know how long it took for each one to come in. He was miserable for a solid week though.

    Thanks ladies. We had a rough day but saw a few little smiles later in the day. So hard to find good that will not hurt the mouth blisters and he will eat. Poor kiddo can't wear shoes as he feet hurt too much. Hoping tomorrow we see more improvement. I am taking the day off anyway as the nanny needed the day off.

    Poor guy. DD has hand, foot and moth right now too but hers seem to be mind thank goodness. As far as molars go it can take a while. DS has been working on his first molar for weeks. Edit: our boys are about the same age:)

    No clue just hope your lo feels better soon! That is the worst to have and way to much going on at once. 

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    Day 4 and we turned a corner. He can now walk for a bit but prefers to lounge around. Today he fell though, onto the back step and split his lip. The worse fat lip I have ever seen..... He is just a mess ATM
