Sunday randoms

Littlest squish got me up before 6 today. I have some stuff to get done before the get together, but I'm not doing any of it. Instead, I'm enjoying a hot coffee and watching antiques road show. Heading to get together around 10:40. Psyched!

    @theseaword‌ Mine were up early as well. A few hours to go... Aaaaah!

    @fancynewbeesly‌ I keep wanting you to be shinynewbeasley and so I have issues tagging you. How was the fair last night?

    DH left for his thirty hour shift. I get instantly grumpy when he walks out. I miss the hour restrictions from last year.

    DS2 was up at 6, but he slept all night so I'll take it. He is currently sleeping again but DS1 just woke up.

    We're going to church today for the first time in like a year. Fx the kids behave.

    Both of the kids were up by 6:15. I'm so annoyed. At least we have water so now I can have coffee.

    I was gonna sleep in today because my allergies are out of control, but DS' potty is in our bathroom (his request), and he came in at 7:30 to use it and then cried and cried because I wouldn't get up. But I am in bed drinking coffee alone now, so I can't complain too much.

    I want to go to Once Upon a Child to find DS some shoes today. I found Toms last week for $3.50 in his size-so thrilling...except apparently Toms size 7 is about 3 sizes smaller than regular size 7s. Bummer.

    I cannot get L to leave the dog alone, and the dog won't go away, either. It drives me crazy.

    I just separated them and now L is throwing a fit.

    We are here. I have nothing planned so far so I'm hoping to hang out at home and get some rest. We have a gift card to Olive Garden we forgot about so we may get takeout tonight

    I'm sick. LO has had a runny nose the last few days I thought was allergies that was really a cold apparently. I was supposed to work in the nursery today but I don't want to get the babies sick so I called out. I hope I feel better before work tomorrow

    I think my contractions are just for funsies today. They are stuck at 5-8 minutes. L&D told me to drink water and take a bath.

    Up, nursing & coffee. At my moms with my sister & her family just waiting on everyone else to get up. We were going to take the kids out on the lake today but woke up to thunderstorms, so thats out. Not sure what our backup plan is to keep the littles entertained today

    Good morning everyone. DS fell asleep after his 6 am bottle (again) and slept until 9. Hooray sleeping in! I'm enjoying coffee while he wiggles around on his jungle mat. DH is still asleep but I'm going to end that pretty quick... We have a lot to get done before first day of day care and work tomorrow. I hope everyone going to the NE gtg has a great time!

    @TyrannosaurusLex‌ I hear you! While packing DH and I had a fair amount of banter of what was worth keeping. His piles and piles of sound and music magazines that, really, will you ever read again and essentially are our place mats?

    I found a whole bunch that I had shoved under the couch "to put out of sight".

    Or how about this stuff we never even unpacked from the last move - really? We need to keep it?

    Crazy kid is just fucking with me now. Potty training kind of stalled out awhile ago and he keeps saying encouraging things lately then not following through and I don't want to make it a battle.
    He keeps getting underwear out of his drawer saying I want to wear these today, then when I say ok let's use the potty today, he runs away fake crying. Just let me know when you're for real ready kid. I hate potty training.

    Hey everyone. DH got up with DS and I slept in til 9:30 today. Now up having coffee. I need to get my butt motivated and in the shower. We're off to the fair in a bit to watch the truck pulls that a few of our friends are competing in. I think DS will get a kick out of seeing all the trucks!
