Hello! So, I stepped on a hornet on Friday (OW) and got stung pretty good. I removed the stinger carefully, washed and dried and applied a baking soda paste as instructed by a nurse. It appears I'm having a "moderate" reaction to this sting, It described it as swelling extending beyond the sting site with redness, pain and itching, increasing over the next day or two and lasting a few days. So I'm itchy and swollen and it's not serious, but other than ice, do any of you have some safe tips for bee sting relief? If it continues beyond the next couple of days I will call my doctor but it appears to be just a localized reaction on my foot that got worse yesterday and makes walking suck! TIA!

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is pregnancy safe, so you could take that to reduce swelling and inflammation, but I'd recommend asking the doctor or nurse before taking it.
Hope it heals soon!

You could also try Claritin or Zyrtec, since they are antihistamines.
I also like chigger rx, not sure how effective for a bee sting, but I love this stuff for mosquito bites.
