War Eagle! I went to Auburn and we are a huge football family. I mean, we are in the SEC so who would to love football? DH went to University of Tennessee, so we have a smidge of a rivalry, but his team has been sucking so he has to cheer for mine My dad's parents were friends with Bear Bryant so he is horrified every time I say War Eagle and I almost hurl every time he wears houndstooth.

Twins? You mean two babies? WOW!
Team PURPLE!!
We are excited to meet William Alexander and Harper Abigail in 2015!
Florida Gators all the way! I grew up in Gainsville while my dad got his Masters at UF, so I was really blessed to grow up around all the amazing football culture there. We are huge fans and my dad still has season tickets. I ended up moving to South Carolina and marrying a Gamecock, so we have the SEC rivalry there. It's fun! (Most of the time, haha)
Yeah, I grew up in Columbus. So, basically, you come out of the womb and it's already decided that you will be a Buckeye fan. I had no choice. I grew up on campus, actually. My parents hung out there when I was little (they went to school there), so I wound up spending a lot of time there too! I also grew up going to a lot of the games (football and basketball), we had "spirit Fridays" during elementary school where everyone wore their Buckeye gear, and if you weren't going to the game then you were certainly getting together at someone's house to eat lots of food and watch the game...you get the picture. It is a cult.
That said, because campus was literally in my backyard, I felt like I needed to go a little bit "away" to go to school, so I went to Ohio U. No one is quite as excited about Bobcat football in Athens, OH though, so a Buckeye fan I have always stayed!
H went to OSU for undergrad and Notre Dame for his MBA. We'll forgive him for his love of all things ND. My dad has already proclaimed the baby will not be a Notre Dame fan.
Bama all the way! My mother was very loyal to her school, played all 4 years in the band. Now us kids are loyal too. University of Alabama is where it's at. Roll Tide baby!!!!
I'm split. Grew up a buckeye fan and went to osu undergrad and grad school, so I love watching some buckeye football. That said, we are big Florida State fans in our house. Go noles!
I'm from Alabama so I'll be surrounded by Auburn and Alabama fans all season. My husband is an Oregon ducks fan (he's from the west coast)
I don't really care either way to be honest. It's kind exciting at first (team spirit, tailgating, etc.), but I get tired of it by the end of the season.
Hotty Toddy and Roll Tide! DH and I met in school at the University of Mississippi but both my parents with to Alabama. We love SEC football around here!
I go to Ohio State and have tickets to all the home games and I am so pumped! Go bucks!
Jealous!!!
We're in LA so we watch the noon games (9 am) in our Buckeye pjs with bagels and Bloody Marys. And at some point during pretty much every game, DH reminisces about the night before the Michigan game his senior year when he joined in the Mirror Lake jump. Wish we could manage to get there for a game!
We go together like a wink and a smile. June 27, 2009
I'll cheer for any SEC team but my heart belongs on good ol Rocky Top! Football season is kind if a bust for us so I usually wait for basketball season since the Lady Vols tear it up! But we have another new coach this year so I'll start the season optimistically!
I never really watched much football (I'm a baseball fan), but DH is a huge Bama fan, so I've joined that bandwagon. His dad cheers for auburn just to keep things interesting, so I enjoy watching the games with his family. That whole one-second touchdown was brutal to watch, but loved seeing FILs reaction!
