I never got to decorate my house. I moved into a house DH already owned and got stuck with the decor. 10 years later there is still a stupid wall hanging in my bedroom that has a chart about how to tell if you've drank too much. There is also a mirror in there that an ex girlfriend made for him. My front entry way has a gargoyle and a sign that says welcome salty sailors. This wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't 39 and DH 45!!

Closest I have gotten to decorating in this place is the girls rooms.

Sigh...

I know. DH still hasn't hung my japanese paper balloons in the nursery so it's not "complete". I'll take some photos anyways.

My previous house was a bit like this. It wasn't exactly a bachelor pad, but not all mine. Our new house is a blank palette and i'm having so much fun decorating.

I totally eye roll my friend who has a May baby that whines about how she can't breastfeed. She's had TWO boob jobs and she's only 27. I have zero sympathy, because, honestly, her boobs were great to start with. If she effed up her own chance to BF because she "needed" bigger tits, then don't complain about it. Nobody forced her to do it.

Having had a reduction I do feel sympathy. What may not have been important to her when she was younger might be now. Not being able to feed your baby the way you would like to sucks and it's even worse to know your past decisions are to blame for it.

Younger days- her second set of implants was a year and a half ago. She doesn't really have an excuse.

A reduction is waaaayyyyyyy different in my eyes. No one NEEDS to have implants (except in reconstructive cases which bfing probably would have been affected anyway). Some people NEED a reduction.

I need implants, how am I supposed to go back to being head of the tiny titty committee after experiencing the joys of shimmy-ing

my best guess is they're fans of the "Guess How Much I Love You" book. Which, while I guess it's kinda sweet, is really just a story of a dad who can't let his kid win at anything. That fucking bunny is constantly one-upping his poor kid.

I was only planning on breastfeeding 6 months, but have now decided to try for a year. Not gonna lie- a big part of that decision is two extra paid 20 min breaks at work.

I never even bought a baby book. Every now and then I feel guilty, but overall I don't really see the point.

Mine wasn't medically necessary. It was vanity. Regardless of how long ago it was your perspective changes when you become a mother. I never thought in a million years not being able to bf would hurt so much.

I still think it's ridiculous. She knew the risks and went with it anyway. Twice. I'm not going to pity her because it was a decision she made. If I get upset that someone has lost all of their pregnancy weight by working REALLY hard at it then I don't deserve to whine at them that I've still got lots to lose if I haven't put the effort in. It's my body, I made the decision, and unfortunately, my decisions suck in that area.

I'm so tired of everyone expecting to have consequence-free living.

Well, my mom bought it for me so I guess I feel a little obligated to use it. TBH, I would've picked a different one, but oh well. I just always liked reading through mine growing up. I fear DS will ask, "why isn't there anything written in my baby book?" And I'll have to say, "sorry, honey, I was too busy watching netflix and dicking around on my phone."
