I'm sorry. Maybe Johnny football will help you guys out this year.
Thanks. It's a sad day when your FFFC evokes pity from others. Lol
Being from Cleveland is rough. All of our sports teams have come so close, but can never seem to seal the deal. Even though I have moved to Los Angeles where the teams win championships left and right, I will be a Cleveland fan 4 lyfe.

I will cheer for the Browns with you! There are some big changes happening, should be a good season. I've been hearing things through the grapevine.
I am one! Hoping that sometime soon we will have another Super Bowl win we can cling to for 30 years before the next one shows up LOL!! But Im also a Cubs fan so Im pretty used to the disappointment year after year haha!!
I can't wait for all the trash talking to begin this should be fun
Please, I'm still a cowboys fan, but in order to trash talk your team needs something worth bragging about....
---
8-8 or 10-6... I'll take the 10-6. Even though we did lose the wild card
I'm excited for this season though. Not excited about Foles interceptions or Sanchez but... should be good anyway.
lol I hope you understood I was talking crap about my own team. Meaning although I am still a fan, they are pathetic right now and thus I have no trash to talk.

I'm also a Cubs fan although it's hard to even pay attention to them anymore. With the Bears I feel like we just get so close and then the same thing happens year after year. Crossing my fingers we can pull it together this year!
FFFC: I only have fun at football games in person.... sitting in the band section. All the fun happens there!
(or on band busses, lol) Oh how I miss it! One of my WVU friends posted a pic of her two LOs at band camp watching. So cute!
In college we did band caravans. The football team took a plane and we would pack into 8 person vans and follow them everywhere, across multiple states sometimes. Then we'd sleep on the gym floor of whatever college we were playing. Best times ever!! Hard core band nerd here!
Guess another FFFC for me would be that I declined an internal at my last doctor appt. They're uncomfortable and I don't think it tells you too much since women can walk around dialated for weeks before having baby. I''ll just wait for labor.
Um... My internal exam yesterday, while resulting in bleeding, did not hurt whatsoever. (Also, DH decided that we needed to have sex twice before I went to the doctor, which I was pretty sure is frowned upon when you are going to see the OB/GYN) Not sure of any of this is a FFFC, so if it isn't, then that is my FFFC....
I know I should want to spend more time with my son before the baby comes. I know after the baby comes, I will miss the one on one time that we spend together. But I'm tired and uncomfortable and he's been exceptionally naughty lately. So he's been spending more time in his room, at summer camp, and at one relative or another's house than with me.

As long as your son is being taken care of, there's nothing you SHOULD be doing my dear. Let go of the guilt, and do what you have to do to get your daughter here safely! No stress, just do your thing.

Everyone else: My internal exam hurt like a mofo You: Mine didn't. Ha ha, suckers!
I have at most six weeks of work left before maternity leave. They have yet to send anyone to train with me or to even mention who they will be sending. And I'm acting like a child and not saying anything. If they can't figure it out that's their problem.

They must have spidey sense or something because my DD has been exceptionally whiney and has been a huge pain in my ass lately. She has only taken 1 nap in the last week and is so tired but refusing to sleep. Something that has never been a problem for us. Also throwing fits over nothing. I told my friends today I jaut need a break. Just a few hours even to get away by myself and not have to worry about her and how she is going to act. We just have to hang in there and hope things get better. Sorry he is giving you trouble
Yep, same here. I even had to tell my son that I was tired of him crying for no reason. I was started to think maybe he sensed something but who knows. I'm sorry for both of you having to go through it. I totally understand. And maybe my FFFC should be that I look forward to nap and bedtime every single day just so I have a break!
I've been crying off and on since last night, because we had to put a cone on my dog to keep him from scratching. He has bad allergies, and the vet said a come would be best. But he hasn't had a cone on since his neutering 4 years ago, and he's so sad and miserable. I can't help but be sad when I look at him. It's getting ridiculous.
@Monicavickery - I haven't ready through the whole thread yet, but do you by chance give your puppy anything for his allergies? We have a pug who has horrible-horrible allergies. Each summer he scratches himself raw and gets infections. This summer we started giving him a children's Clariton pill each morning and we have seen a 90% improvement. He still slightly scratches but not to where he is hurting himself anymore. It might be worth a try.

I plan on declining any future internals, but my NP was pretty set on doing just one initial exam since I was in L&D last weekend. She said that they aren't good predictors and I don't think they'll push doing them in the future, but she said it was helpful to have a "starting point" to know what, if anything, has changed the next time I go to L&D (which hopefully won't be until it's truly time again).
And for the record, my internal definitely hurt. I called DH on my way back to work and told him that I just got fisted by my NP! I wasn't really sure what to expect so when it happened I was like "holy hell!!"
Quote box fail:
I totally sympathize with all of you. I remember that being one of the most painful things my last pregnancy and wanted to avoid again if possible.
@Conradraging I thought I was alone in my love for the 'Boys. They have had some rough seasons, and they frustrate me to no end, but I still love them.
That's what being a fan is all about. Pain. Much like the third tri.
Yea you don't know the pain of being a fan unless you are a Jaguars fan! But I love my boys and we rock the black and teal in this house!
Finally! My September Siggy Challenge: TV Show I'll Be Binge Watching
Am I the only one who plans on never sterilizing a bottle? Am I naive, or is baby not going to get sick from using a bottle that was just washed?
Nope. I hand washed and used the dishwasher last time and will be doing it again this round. My toddler only has a couple slight abnormalities, so I'm sure you'll be fine not sterilizing the bottles also!

My dishwasher has this magical button that says high temp wash. That is my plan.
