Evidently she's an idiot, or I just look more fat than usual today and not at all pregnant. Either way, I now want to eat 17 bars of chocolate.
Cooter punch her. And go eat a Snickers.

I'm listening to Pandora 90's country while I work in my classroom. The live version of Friends in Low Places was just on. I have it way too loud. I'm pretty sure I'm alone up here though.
My boss is on vacation and now her boss just left for the day. This is totally our quiet time of the year, so I am thinking about leaving early this afternoon, but feel bad because I was on vacation last week.
Then I remember all the nights I was here until 9pm for the last few months...
Too bad I have to wait until the kids wake up from their naps before I can pick them up.
@MarisaKathleen big huge hugs to you. Truthfully, I would suggest at least attempting some counseling if you are at his point in your marriage. I'm so sorry
@shiggybop glad you got to talk to your doctor. It is hard getting that diagnosis and having it be official, but hopefully you realize that it is a good thing, and not a bad ing, and you start feeling better soon. Juggling two kids (especially so young) is no easy task, hopefully you are getting enough time for yourself
Good luck Monday, poppy! I bet once you get into your work environment you don't feel the need to curse as much. At least, that's what I tell myself for when I eventually get a job!
I'm here. Stressing. Don't want to unload all my frustrations here. I made an apt with my PCP to have my thyroid checked for next week but I think I'm going to talk to him about some anxiety meds to help me get through these next few weeks. I've been submitting applications left and right for a bunch of different kind of jobs and I really cannot believe that nothing has worked out yet. I've even been following up like you guys suggested!
I'll only feel comfortable going back to work if B is on a good feeding/sleeping schedule. His first 4 weeks home were a whirlwind of crazy, so now I'm trying to stay home and get us in some sort of routine.
You will get into a good routine. I remember feeling with both kids that I was never going to get the baby on a schedule, but in both cases, it came together before I had to go back to work.
I got a job and I start on monday and I'm stupid excited but I just realized I have GOT TO STOP SWEARING. I drop f bombs left and right (hellooo toddler mom) and I'm going to be working at a school.
Another fffc, I decided we're not having a party for DS but it's because I got in a big fight with my sister and I don't want to deal with the family politics. Sorry kid. We'll still do something the 3 of us.
@hmp1 can you do a different orchard? That is so frustrating!
No, it is the only orchard around. I'm just frustrated because I just got the news but it will be fine. I will have the kids shoot an apple off DH's head or something. Lord knows I would like to shoot at his head And I can bring some picnic games to have set up. It is a short and small party so I'm not going to get all worked up about planning anything big.

@Holly_1007 Thank you for the compliment. And I hope everything goes well for you with the thyroid and the job search. You can always PM me if you need to vent and don't want to put it up on the board. Although, I don't think anyone minds when you do it here.

@marissakathleen Hugs to you! MH & I don't get along much either.
@shiggybop Hugs to you too & vibes that the mastitis clears up soon!
My FFCC is I bribed DD with her brother's fruit snacks today. I am not a food briber, but I'm down to the wire with finding her flower girl shoes. I ordered 4 pairs online with no luck. When I brought her to the shoe store, she threw up b/c she threw a fit not wanting to try them on.
So today we went to David's Bridal & I came prepared. When she started to get worked up, I busted out the fruit snacks. It was a close call, but it worked. I gave her a fruit snack as her reward & she didn't even eat it! She licked it for about a half hour & then got bored with it, lol.

I know H has been looking for some sort of "push present" for me, because he bought me a diamond a sapphire ring when I had Hannah. He knows that Ben's birth stone is NMS, so I casually mentioned that I've been coveting multi-strand pearls. Disclaimer: I do not require, nor do I ask for push presents, but H likes to buy them...so it may as well be something I want.
I know you guys won't flame me for this, but DH will I drove to three different Targets today looking for shoes. The first one was over an hour away. I found two pair that I wanted, and for a lot less than I expected. No luck on the third pair though.
I listened to Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" on repeat on the way home from my parents' house yesterday so that I would only have ONE screaming kid in the back of my car. Hannah likes to sing along. Confession: I really didn't mind it.
Lila loves that song ever since she saw his sesame street version "outdoors".

See, I would hear what she said and think "I'm 37 weeks, and I look so good people don't even know that I'm pregnant! Yay me!"

What shoes?
They're Mossimo Veruca heels. I never wear heels, but these are so darn comfortable! They were originally $30, and the ones I got today were $9.
DH is bringing home take-out. I fed the munchkin leftovers. It's healthier than anything on their kid's menu and I knew she'd eat it. Super excited about my steak wrap!
I was supposed to go with H to a Red Sox game tonight but instead I faked that I didn't feel well just to get some time to myself. This is stupid, because I love MLB games. I had E for 5 days by myself on vacation and I'm tired.
When we packed up to leave (2 days early because of the rain that wouldn't stop) it took me 3 hours to pack up the vacation house and the car. I got home and went to chiropractic yesterday as well as today and I'm beat. Thank god SIL took E for the weekend.
Edit: the chiropractic is because this little baby is Frank Breech. FML. She better turn her ass around and quick.

I'm kind like 'meh' on the whole maxi dress/skirt. I have 2- one maternity skirt from 2 years ago (navy and white angled stripes) and a new maternity dress that is navy with a geometric pattern. Both are super cute BUT freaking H.O.T.
FFFC-Today was a teacher work day, and also students could drop off supplies and meet their teachers from 1-3. I wore shorts and tennis shoes while I was working (up & down my step stool hanging things up, cleaning, organizing, etc), but then changed into my maxi skirt & sandals after lunch to look more professional while people were in and out. I mostly did some busy work on my computer, during the whole 2 hours and stopped to greet people when they came in. But I had to fan my poor sweaty legs under my desk after the students & families left.
I did the same thing in the car after school-hiked up my skirt. So klassy.
@flamingemu@melody921 I want to love the maxi, and damn I'm going to wear to them while our gorgeous fall-like summer weather holds out(limited work clothes wardrobe), but am I doing something wrong?

I can only get away with them when I am indoors. I sweat constantly. As soon as I got home I threw on shorts because I was picking up and such. At work, I sit on my ass most of the day - in air conditioning.

Yeah, I'm normally indoors and at a desk, so that could be why I'm able to stay cool while wearing them. I'd be hot if I were outside.
