Pillows in the crib?

DD is all congested with a cold and I thought she might be more comfortable sleeping on a pillow so I put mine in her crib. She just slept for 2 hours the entire time on the pillow.

At what age do you give a kid a pillow? Is she too young? 

Just curious what others have done.

    no real world experience here, but i'd say she's old enough. i think the AAP recommendation only extends to 1 year old.

    I got Cam a little pillow for her birthday.  I usually lay her down on it, but she never stays on it b/c typically she crawls in a corner and lays on her belly.  I would say go for it if you think it would help. I got a travel size one and the pilllowcase at Bed Bath and Beyond.

    I don't know about a pillow rule.  I don't want to give DS one, because I don't want him to get used to it and need it!  Besides, he never sleeps in the same place for long, so it'd probably be pointless.  But I would think at her age a pillow would be fine.
