conradraging Please, Please, please be sure they check your blood work! With DS1 I had CRAZY swelling and somewhat misbehaving BP that would suddenly stabilize. No or very little protein in urine when checked. However blood work showed my liver and kidney numbers tanking and I was immediately delivered bc of Pre-E with HELLP syndrome.

If they never checked blood work, I am not sure what would have happened.

... Well that's terrifying. They didn't even end up doing any bloodwork. They took a urine sample for a culture for possible uti but that's it.

@conradraging‌ Sorry, didnt mean to frighten you! I had never heard of it before that day so I wanted to pass info on. Maybe call your OB today and request it? I know my doctors were shocked. Don't expect it based on my lack of other pre-e tell take signs other than swelling. In the meantime keep doing your kick counts and monitoring your own BP. It's good that you realized it was changing.

I'm glad @conradraging got to go home and I hope baby girl stays put a little while longer. Let's hope that the blood pressure stays in check.

woah. that IS terrifying. be in touch with your doc and make sure you keep an "eye" on your kick counts! i'm glad you got to go back home. i'll be thinking of you.

Hey guys, another update, my blood pressure was back down at 100/70 today which is perfectly normal for me and still no protein in the urine. The swelling also went way down after sleeping with my legs elevated. So for now they're "ruling out" pre e. Still waiting on the uti culture. No dilation as of yet.

So all in all everything is looking normal and I have a growth scan on Saturday. Thanks for all your well wishes!
