DD started on a steroid inhaler a few months back and I
always have her use it before brushing her teeth so I can make sure she
rinses w/ water, etc. (she is 5). SHe started complaining of her throat
bothering her here and there & then her mouth so I took a look and
sure enough she has thrush on the back of her tongue. We got some
nystatin (4 x a day for 2 weeks ugghhh) but I am wondering what others
do to prevent this so I can try to not have it happen again...other than
swishing w/ water, spitting, then drinking a little after using it, any
other recommendations from ppl with experience? I'm not 100% sure if
probiotics work with this but she takes one daily anyway...
thanks.
