10 dp iui is the true time of doubt...

Do you feel nauseous or did you just eat too fast? Are you tired because your cooking some new hormones or just over worked? Is that cramp implantation or hopefully the little one digging in their little claws or just the lining loosening for AF in a little less than a week? Are you boobs full in firm for production of milk or just bloated before your period? Do you feel like your on fire cause your sick or is your base temperature really going up? Is the extra CM because of preparations or just because of the progesterone? What the hell is going on? What do you mean I need to wait 7 more days? Am I crazy or just a bit mental?

Me: 38. Diagnosed PCOs 09, took 'em long enough. Low Thyroid 13.
SO: 41. Diabetic. We are not married yet in the legal sense. 
Together since Feb 09. TTC since Jan 11.
6 Clomid cycles. Mostly BFN one BFP but chemical Aug 12.
IUI #1-3 Menopur and Ovidrel BFN. 
IUI #4 Gonal-F and Ovidrel BFN.
IUI #5 Gonal-F and Ovidrel BFP 9/15 
Maternit21 all clear and a boy!

    I am firmly in the camp that there are no true symptoms until well after you have a positive test. Anything before that could be from anything, PMS, progesterone, etcetera. I feel your anxiety, but if you don't have enough pregnancy hormones to turn a test positive, you probably aren't feeling any pregnancy hormone symptoms.

    Looking for symptoms this early on is just mental torture. In reality you just don't know until you have a positive test. Theoretically if you are having symptoms caused by a pregnancy then you should have a high enough beta to be detected with a test. Your body doesn't know your pregnant until after implantation and you start producing hormones.

    January & February: 2 IUIs, BFN
    March:  IUI, ectopic, 2 surgeries with 1 tube removed
    May - July: 3 more IUIs, all BFN, on to IVF
    August: IVF#1, BFN
    September:  FET#1, BFP!!!
    It's a girl!!!
