After so many weeks of lurking and reading and becoming familiar with your cycles and ODs and descriptions of CM, I can't help but feel a little strange that I don't know much else about you! I am curious to know something a little more topical, and a little less cerivcal.
So what do you do for a living? What is your job? What is your #1 hobby (TTGP cannot be an answer!) Personally, I am a government policy analyst . When I am not doing that, I love to tackle DIY projects (I read Young House Love religiously).
Your turn

@Wine&Cupcakes Knitting is great! I don't like following patterns or anything complex, but just straight knit and pearl stitch is so relaxing. Needless to say, scarves are my forté
@Joy2611 Ummm it definitely sounds like a grown up job to me! But I relate to that feeling
And yes wine drinking is a hobby
@gypsymermaid Ahhhh you're off for the summer! All the jealous! Both my parents were in education, so I had a very skewed perception of what grown ups did all summer when I was growing up.

Thanks for starting @LDW176 it's nice to see what people do and learn more about them with out CM
So what do I do in my free time? What are my hobbies? I enjoy spending time with DH, furchildren and relaxing. I do enjoy running, but that has been on back burner most recently. I am a little boring, but I have so many things I am trying to accomplish right now.

@OnceInLoveWithAmy Wait- you get to work in a helicopter?? Awesome. And agreed, I don't know how John and Sherry do it either. I guess when it's your job you make time. I know it can't be easy and every job has it's challenges, but sometimes I just really WANT their job challenges

As for hobbies, I'm going to start working on some quilts. Since my mom is living with me temporarily (she and I both enjoy sewing) that is our new project! Also vacations, food, alcohol, movies and renos on our house.

My Chart
As for hobbies, I like traveling, reading, running, and eating/drinking, if that counts.
In my spare time I love sewing - I'm not good, but I love it, reading, drinking wine, and looking at recipes that I will never actually make.
I love to cook, this would be my number one "hobby" and aside from that love movie nights, reading and being outdoor with our pups.

I'm an accountant. I have a Masters Degree and a CPA license, but i currently work in private industry (for a large national bank). It's boring but it pays the bills. ;-)
Hobbies include: travel, planning travel, reading about travel (probably should have just been a travel agent), running, yoga, pilates, reading, shopping, baking, cooking, snuggling with my two cats, and (unfortunately) i'm going to add "house hunting" here, because it's all i seem to do lately. DH is nursing an HGTV addiction, so he has unrealistic expectations about "things we can totally renovate" so i'm trying to keep that in check mostly. He is in finance, so we have no actual knowledge of construction/renovating/decorating. We are not creative people.
I almost didn't bother asking about hobbies because this is exactly the way I feel haha. Often my hobbies are what I wish I did in my spare time, between eating crackers and shamelessly watching The Mindy Project and 19 Kids and Counting in 3-hour-sessions.We might be twins, you and I
Hobbies are reading, most forms of exercise, crochet and brewing beer.
Y'all might hate me for this, but I used to drink the YHL koolaide too. Until house 2, when I gave every project the side eye, googled something like "wtf yhl" and found the get off my internets (gomi) forum. Those are my people. Now I just hate read yhl to keep up with the gomi discussion.
I am a Registered Nurse. I currently work on a Short Stay/Rehab therapy unit in a nursing home part time. I worked as a Psychiatric nurse in an inpatient Acute Adult psychiatric unit for 3 years before that. And I am a full time mom to two girls.
I love to bake and do photo albums. And I love to clean and organize stuff. I seriously need more hobbies. I will possibly get some ideas from this thread.
Thanks for starting this thread, great idea!!

+1 that is awesome!
Great thread! I work as a nanny which I love and I am a photographer. The kids are all about to start school so I'll have a few weeks vacation before my busy season begins with fall sessions.
I love baking, house projects, running and reading. Also spending lots of time with friends and family.
DH and I are pretty outdoorsy. We go backpacking and hiking a lot. I love to travel and experience new places and foods. I also love cooking (baking, too, occasionally), I'm an avid reader, I love "Doctor Who," and I do CrossFit (mostly so I can continue cooking amazing things and not feel guilty about tasting it all!).
Why do I feel like I just wrote an eharmony profile?

I'm a technical writer/editor. Lots of boring stuff but my first children's book is currently in the stage of being illustrated and then comes the fun part - finding a publisher. I have three others written and am working on a book for older kids as well. I also work part time in a child care.
Hobbies: I work out! I also enjoy my obstacle races. Otherwise I'm cooking, reading, knitting or crocheting. I'm also working to get my Yoga instructor certification so I can start teaching again.
