First urgent care trip for injury

DS tipped his chair over backwards and smacked the back of his head pretty hard on our tile floor last night. He seemed okay, but I took him in just in case. (He's fine, just a huge goose-egg.)

Then they told me the wrong dose of ibuprofen to give him. They said 6 ml, but didn't mention a concentration. I think that's if child ibprophen, not infant which is what I had. I had already given him the dose before thinking "that seems like a lot" (my common sense was apparently gone last night), so I did some internet research and turned out I was right, that was double what he should have taken. So then I called the nurse line to see what they had to say about a double-dose.

The whole evening made me feel like a stupid, bad parent.

Though with how much of a monkey he is, I'm surprised we made it this long before injury.

You are not a stupid bad parent! I'm glad he's doing well and he doesn't have a concussion. Jax's eye lid is still discolored from her head injury, I hope the bump and any bruises fade quickly!
