At my last monthly apt I was 26 weeks and was told that I would need to start coming in every 2 weeks from now on. Once I reach 34 weeks I am to come in every week. COUNTDOWN IS ON!
I have my 28 week appointment at the end of this month, and then I start going every two weeks after that. And then I think he said we switch to every week at 36. It's kind of annoying to go to the doctor so often, but it's also exciting to be getting towards the end!
I was wondering about this today.. So I am curious what the pole turns out. My next appointment is at 27 weeks, so I'll find out when I start every 2 weeks..
I have my 26 week appt. this Wednesday, so I imagine I will probably have one more monthly appt. at 30 weeks, and then start every other week. I am not sure yet, but I will find out Wednesday.
I went every 4 weeks on the button the entire pregnancy, except this last span was 6 weeks. My last appt. was at 20 weeks, so I thought it was odd they were making me go 6 weeks without an appt.

I was thinking about this recently. My last appointment was Wednesday last week and I was 26 weeks and my next appointment isn't until September 3 when I'll be 30 weeks. I'm assuming she'll have me come every 2 weeks after that, but I kind of wondered if that was out of whack with what everyone else was experiencing.
My "third tri" visit (eek!) ended up being scheduled at three weeks instead of four. So I'm not sure if another three week interval appt (which would correspond with the growth scan ... if I'm still having one) will be scheduled before starting every other week or not. Maybe my OB was just on vacation. I dunno. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
I think it may also depend on when some of your monthly ones hit.
When I made my 24 week appointment I was actually more like 25.5 weeks, I will go in just over 28 weeks and then go bi-weekly. Mondays work best for me for Dr appointments but my week ends on a Thursday. This always puts me at wither a half week before or half week after my "weekly". (Like my ticker changes on Thursdays. Man I am rambling/confusing myself)
The typical at my Dr. office is 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 39, 40. Anything over 40 weeks I think is twice a week. I didn't go over with DS so I am not sure. We did have a NST scheduled for 40.5 with DS though so that is why I think it was twice a week.
I voted SS only because they told me, but I can't remember for sure. I have my 28 week (and glucose test!) next week, then I believe I go every two weeks. It's so crazy how quickly this is going by!
My last monthly appointment is August 28. I go every two weeks then. I made appointments through the end of October before I left. They didn't have their November schedule set yet or I would have made dates for then too.
I remember commenting to the nurse how surreal it was to already be looking that far ahead.
Appointment is tomorrow! Then it's every 2 weeks! Hard to believe I am already at this point! I have a feeling time is going to speedy up and drag at the same time.

My 28 week appointment was today and my next isn't until 32. I think it all just depends on your doc and what they feel is comfortable for each individual.
36 weeks for me according to the purple book. I'm actually kind of glad because that means fewer half days of burning sick leave before D Day.
Guess the DoD doesn't think my uterus is that special haha.
This was me during my last pregnancy! I gave birth at a military hospital overseas. This time we're back in the states and when my ob told me I start seeing her every 2 weeks starting at 28 weeks I might've squealed with delight.
I voted SS because I'm skipping over every two weeks and going straight to weekly as of my 30 week appt which is Sept 10th. I'm on Lovenox shots so they want to monitor me closely.
AH I am so excited! Had my woo hoo baby is coming moment just scheduled my first bi weekly appointment. I go in next week at 28 weeks, then 30 and so on. Am nervous and a little scared but am READY! =D
I go for my 30 week check up on September 8th, then it's biweekly for me! Woohoo! I'm with you @missnacholover, reality is setting in. I'm usually very organized and overly prepared for everything I plan and do. Lately I've been lacking...can you say freak out time! AHHHHH (
My bi-weekly start after 30 weeks and I'm not sure about weekly. I'll have to ask next time. @missnacholover and @NLJ82 - I can totally relate...I've got like 12 1/2 weeks left and to be quite honest cannot wrap my head around that at all. Just typing it makes me freak out a little! Maybe I should go back to the "what is freaking you out most about baby..." Thread and change mine to the fact that "I HAVE TO CARE FOR A COMPLETELY DEPENDENT HUMAN BEING? Gosh, what were we thinking??!"
I had my last appointment at 26 weeks, next is at 30 weeks. But before that they still had me at every 6 weeks? So I'm not 100%, but I assume I should be every 2 weeks after 30? I'm asking when I go for my glucose on Friday
My 27 week apt is this Thursday, so since I"ve been going monthly and he said a couple weeks ago that we start bi-weekly appts at 32 weeks, I'm assuming I'll be 31 weeks when I start bi-weekly's. Unless he wants to get technical and have me go a month and a week in between my next appt.
They haven't said anything to me yet but I go thurs (which will be 27 weeks) and guessing they will tell me then.. I'll also find out when they want to schedule my GD test since I haven't done that yet either. Hopefully they don't go "let's do it now"

I just had an OB appt yesterday at 25.4 weeks and they're starting every other week now. I was somewhat shocked actually and bummed because I just don't know when I'm going to fit all these appointments in (I also have 2 gastroenterologists and DH has a specialist appt in Sept that I'm attending too) I swear sometimes that they just want to make more money on parking. It's pretty typical for an appointment to cost me between $8-$12 in parking alone. (yeah, I know - that's a totally irrational thought)
