Trouble TTC

Conflicting test results & upcoming RE... Good news?/bad news?

Previous posting here: https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12405417/newbie-intro-loss-mentioned

So I got my MRI results, and they were at best confusing.   My kidneys and such were fine, which can apparently be a problem with Mullerian abnormalities, but they said that the MRI did not show a bifid uterus, but the 2 previous U/S clearly showed horns.  So they want to do more tests, which I am so over having done.
So that might be good or bad news, I haven't a clue.

The GOOD news: I have an appointment at a highly recommended RE on the 3rd of September.  I have a HUGE list of questions, but is there anything that I should specifically ask him regarding PCOS and/or Mullerian abnormalities?

  • Hm,strange...I'd guess that they want to do an HSG and/or SIS and/or hysteroscopy to really see what's the shape of your uterus! Tests are so annoying, but luckily you're seeing a pro RE soon, and I'm sure he/she will advise the right tests to take. :)
