Sleep? Yeah, sleep. My H lets me sleep in a little on the weekends. Other than that, game night with our friends. We start off with various board or card games, but it always devolves into drunken Cards Against Humanity.
If you were let loose in a baby store with $500 what would be in your cart?
Missed this one...hrm, that's hard, because we have so much crap left over from DD, so we don't actually need much. I'd probably spend a good bit on new books since DD was a beaver baby and destroyed a lot of them. I'd get one of those awesome fancy wagons with seats and a sun shade as a fun alternative to our stroller. And clothes...this boy is growing like crazy!
Defining moment was probably when I decided I wanted to be a mom. My whole life focus changed. We kind of decided to grow up at that point...bought a house, focused on saving, and I actually started to give a crap about my health.
My H and I met the summer before 10th grade (11th for him) at a friend's college going-away party. I had just moved back in with my dad and he had just had a bad breakup. We clicked and talked the whole night. We broke up a couple times, and got back together for good in college (we went to the same school). We got married five years later. We joke that some people marry for love, some for money, and some for sex, but we got married for mutual amusement. We even added "And to amuse" into our wedding vows."
We're near Orlando, and I'm a total Disney nut. I'd go every day if I could.
My bucket list is kind of made up as I go, but I've always wanted to swim with dolphins. Also, now that we're going to India, I have to go to the elephant orphanage.
If you could go back in time, what would you tell 13 year old Magenta?
Theater is great, but do it on the side. Listen to your mom and go for law. Also, your dad is full of crap when he says you're fat...you're freaking fabulous.
I have a Chinese-style floor length blue dress that I wore to my dad and stepmom's wedding that has been in my closet forever. I love it, and I'm just able to fit back in it.
Off. I actually sleep naked usually, but since I'm nursing I've been wearing a soft bra and undies.
Key lime, but only if it's made with real Key limes and not regular limes.
I'd get to sleep in until at least 9. When I got up, my H would make breakfast for everyone, and then we'd go to Disney for the day. We'd spend most of the day at Magic Kingdom, but pop over to Epcot for dinner at the Biergarten. Back to MK to watch fireworks, then head home. The kids would pass out, and H and I have some alone time.
One of your favorite things about each of your kids?
Worst was the guy who took me to a Chinese buffet, and then the next day I got an angry phone call from his girlfriend. Oops. Best was when my H (then boyfriend) surprised me on my birthday wth third row Les Mis tickets.
Scarlett (my toddler) is incredibly smart and imaginative. She has this need to figure out everything that's going on, and I hope she never loses that curiosity.
Logan is just a straight up happy baby. He's really laid back and easy.
What would you like to dress your kids as for Halloween? Will you dress up with them?
We're all totally dressing up, but I'm not sure as what yet. Probably something with superheroes...Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy. Or maybe Doctor Who...

I love CAH. If I were to start an online CAH, would you participate?
I do excellent impersonations of both Gollum and the acid-spitting dinosaur from Jurassic Park. Also, I can close a bag of chips in such a way that the chips won't go stale forever (my H thinks this is some kind of sorcery).
If you could write a book: what genre? title? how long would it take you to finish?
Favorite charity to participate with?
I had an idea to write a book about Anne Bonny, a famous female pirate, but I suck at research. I never picked a title. It would probably take me a decade if I actually tried to write it.
Driving over the bridge to get to base and seeing dolphins and manatees. You can almost always find one or the other. As much as I hate Florida, I do have to admit that it's beautiful.
I was in our school production of Oliver! and I had to wear this off the shoulder peasant type top. I didn't own a strapless bra, so I just pushed the straps down, which worked fine in rehearsal. On opening night, I'm out there dancing and I notice a group of girls pointing at me. I look down and my left boob is flapping in the wind. I yanked up my shirt and kept going. It was sooooo embarrassing at the time, but hilarious now.
Favorite family tradition? Would you like to begin any with Logan?
What's your ideal family vacation?
My family always eats spinach dip, plays board games, and opens one gift on Christmas Eve. I would like to start the tradition of giving the kids a new pair of jammies and watching a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve as well.
When the kids are older, I want to rent a camper and drive across county one summer. I want to stop at amazing places like the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. My mom's family always did that when she was growing up, but we never did because my dad didn't want to.
Favorite and least favorite thing about being a military wife? (If I've gotten all mixed up and you're not married to the military, please disregard )
What are you most excited and most anxious about moving to India? (Of which I am insanely jealous, by the way)
Jennifer Lawrence because we both have a goofy, twisted sense of humor.
I have two: Needful Things and Memoirs of a Geisha. Two very different genres.
I love the military community...everyone is always there for you if you need help. Free health care is also a plus. The worst part is that you make such wonderful, close friends, and then either you or they get transferred.
I'm excited because I've never been out of the country and I'll be completely immersed in a new culture. I'm terrified for exactly the same reasons.

Sleep with socks on or off?
Favorite kind of pie?
That I could figure out what my babies wanted and make them happy. As much as I wanted to be a mom, I was sure I'd be a miserable one.
I actually have really bad social anxiety and have a hard time meeting people IRL. Once I know someone, though, I'm crazy friendly.
If you could describe your self in one word, one color, one animal and one food what would that be?
Off. I actually sleep naked usually, but since I'm nursing I've been wearing a soft bra and undies.
Key lime, but only if it's made with real Key limes and not regular limes.
Neurotic, purple, cat, and calzone.

Luke warm.
"We knew she was a troll when she mentioned her ________."
"Rather than starting with cereal, we decided to skip right to feeding the baby _________."
Answer cards: "Bye, Felicia"
"Blob fish"
"The most epic of twatwaffles."
I have a Civil War bridal cap and veil. It's in excellent shape and beautiful.
Best meal...that's a tough one. Probably this amazing venison stew I had when we were in Williamsburg for our anniversary one year.
HELL YES!
Oh, I'm sorry. Was that overly enthusiastic?
ASPCA
My spirit animal is probably a cat...I'm kind of lazy and like to be pampered, but I hold grudges like crazy and can kick some ass if I need to.
Victorian! I would bring back bustle dresses and corsets if I could.
Mmmm, probably hard candy. I do like white chocolate, but I'm also a big fan of caramels.
