My H and I met the summer before 10th grade (11th for him) at a friend's college going-away party. I had just moved back in with my dad and he had just had a bad breakup. We clicked and talked the whole night. We broke up a couple times, and got back together for good in college (we went to the same school). We got married five years later. We joke that some people marry for love, some for money, and some for sex, but we got married for mutual amusement. We even added "And to amuse" into our wedding vows."
We're near Orlando, and I'm a total Disney nut. I'd go every day if I could.
My bucket list is kind of made up as I go, but I've always wanted to swim with dolphins. Also, now that we're going to India, I have to go to the elephant orphanage.
Sleep with socks on or off?

That I could figure out what my babies wanted and make them happy. As much as I wanted to be a mom, I was sure I'd be a miserable one.
I actually have really bad social anxiety and have a hard time meeting people IRL. Once I know someone, though, I'm crazy friendly.
If you could describe your self in one word, one color, one animal and one food what would that be?
Off. I actually sleep naked usually, but since I'm nursing I've been wearing a soft bra and undies.
Key lime, but only if it's made with real Key limes and not regular limes.
Neurotic, purple, cat, and calzone.
Scarlett (my toddler) is incredibly smart and imaginative. She has this need to figure out everything that's going on, and I hope she never loses that curiosity.
Logan is just a straight up happy baby. He's really laid back and easy.

I have a Civil War bridal cap and veil. It's in excellent shape and beautiful.
Best meal...that's a tough one. Probably this amazing venison stew I had when we were in Williamsburg for our anniversary one year.

My spirit animal is probably a cat...I'm kind of lazy and like to be pampered, but I hold grudges like crazy and can kick some ass if I need to.
Victorian! I would bring back bustle dresses and corsets if I could.
Mmmm, probably hard candy. I do like white chocolate, but I'm also a big fan of caramels.
When the kids are older, I want to rent a camper and drive across county one summer. I want to stop at amazing places like the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. My mom's family always did that when she was growing up, but we never did because my dad didn't want to.
I have two: Needful Things and Memoirs of a Geisha. Two very different genres.
I love the military community...everyone is always there for you if you need help. Free health care is also a plus.
I'm excited because I've never been out of the country and I'll be completely immersed in a new culture. I'm terrified for exactly the same reasons.
