Just got the call- 
The baby is being taking off the machines in about an hour or so. 
Her numbers have all been bad last night today, and she has become really jaundiced. They never got to try to wean her off ECMO again, the numbers weren't good enough. 
It almost makes the other day seem like a cruel trick- it just put her parents through such a rollercoster of emotions. I am sure things will not go the way they did that day tonight. 



I feel like I am spamming the board with all this, but I also feel like I have to keep you updated since so many of you are praying.  Baby girl passed away in her mommys arms, just after 6pm est. My sister who was there( she is also babies aunt. My sister and cousin married brothers) said it was so especially heartbreaking because she looks so healthy except for all tubes. (Until today when she became really jaundiced, you would never know there was anything wrong.) All her grandparents and aunts and uncles were there, and her parents got to give her a bath and dress her.
