Carriers (babywearing)

Re: Carriers (babywearing)

  • I've got the Infantino Mei Tie (Sash) as well - we like it well enough for the most part, but it always feels as if I can't get the shoulder straps tight enough. :(  He's almost always leaning back a bit into the head rest/neck support if we aren't sitting down, so it makes me a bit nervous.  For $15, it was a steal though and a good intro to babywearing for me.

I'm interested in getting a Lillebaby as our next carrier - I like that the complete all seasons version has both a mesh panel and adjustable seat feature.  It won't be that stylish, but hopefully will be a good fit for us.

Now for a bit of a PSA for anyone looking to find their next carrier - try Essex Bargain Hunt if you have one close to you.  Our local one has had the BabyHawk Oh Snap, Infantino Mei Tie, K'Tan, and Ergo products there at one point or another - others might carry different things as well.  The BabyHawk was about half the retail price and so was the Mei Tai that I purchased. :)  It's completely luck of the draw but you might find something you want there - if not, they also have a lot of other baby gear at reasonable/reduced prices that may be worth checking out.
