It's the formula my university used for our emails - first 4 letters of last name, first initial, middle initial, graduation year. I got in the habit of using it.
I have used the SN "nauticalgirl" for everything because I have an obsession with anchors. But "anchorgirl" sounded like I was a news anchor, when in reality I'm a nanny. LOL! So when I came to The Bump I decided to be "nauticalmama" since this was a pregnancy site:)
I have an anxiety disorder, triggered by child loss. So it pretty much is what drove me to seek out company of other women who get that anxiety. Hence the moniker.
sweetdreamz - my horse's name was Dreamer and on her paperwork it was Sweet Dreams of You (the Patsy Cline song) so uts to honor her. The z is b/c the s was taken back in the chat room days. 67 is my fav number and 00 for the year I graduated.
I think I had better chime in here since I've been accused of having a "slightly pornographic" screenname! (@thegoodpotato) Which makes me laugh horribly now and I can't get my mind out of the gutter!
Woops, mobile bumping and didn't mean to post yet. My first DD we called Muncher and my second DD we called Buggy a lot. I'm not creative. But now I'd LOVE a new post on how to make fun of this screenname! Nom, Nom, Nom...
Kidding! Elizabeth Jennings is a main character on The Americans. 81 is the year the show starts in, after Reagan takes office. And she is definitely not a Liz.
Awaiting our bundle of cute chaos.

Mine is a name I used in Spanish class in high school. The number is our anniversary day and coincidentally also my due date day (a month apart though - married 3/23, due 2/23).
When I first singed up with the knot I had marriage on the brain so I made my screen name Mrs. gclark (hubby's first initial and last name) 81, our birth year. If I ever change it I would use the nick name my grandma use to call me, doll-baby.
My husband keeps salt water fish and "Valentino" (A powder blue tang) was the first one I bought for him as a Valentine's present. 2013 is the year we were married.
