my confession.... or I guess this would be a uo...
I don't really care if the furniture in the nursery matches or not. Not like baby is really going to care. I have an offwhite crib... and then couldn't find any cheapo dressers I liked in off-white.. so *gasp* it's pure white and I have a rocking chair that my mom gave to me (that she used when I was a baby) that is brown. It doesn't bother me at all. Then again I don't mind the mis-matched furniture look.
I'm making plans for the counselor who is subbing for me while I'm on maternity leave, and I'm giving her all of the worksheets and topics the kids hated last years so that when I come back they will like me better than her.
I'm driving 5 hours today to my hometown for my baby shower tomorrow. I'm taking a longer route than is necessary. I told my mom this was because the Bay Bridge would would have awful traffic. It's actually because I wanted to stop at Casa de Fruita (tourist trap) for a sandwich that I've been craving for weeks.
I have all the love in the world for Captain America.
FFFC: it should be totally acceptable to punch someone that says your due in four weeks? There is no way your to small for that. No shit Sherlock that's because she's measuring way behind and no just eating more is not going to fix the problem.
@mambonumber5 - I cannot stand hearing that! A lady today asked when I was due and when I said September she insisted I was lying because my bump is just way to small to be due next month some time. I finally just gave her a glare as she finished checking me out and left as quickly as I could. Hearing people constantly call out my tiny bump has me as sad and angry as it would if I had a huge bump and someone said something. Seriously -- big or small -- it's not okay to comment on the size of one's bump, unless it's your own.
We went to the produce stand today for corn on the cob, green beans and squash for dinners this weekend. They had no bake cookies. Couldn't resist. Best cookies ever. Always the highlight of my summer!
It's 10:45...I'm baking brownies. I'm pretty hungry too and might make a sandwich. I had a salad for lunch and then threw it up....whose stomach rejects a freakin salad???? So, I didn't eat dinner.
If it didn't require a bra and pants, I'd be going to the store for ice cream to make a brownie sundae...mmmmmmm.
