Poas when I got home from work. Bfn. But AF is still missing. I think Im a few days late. I have had it happen once where I skipped a month and it went back to normal the next month. Im still going to test again in a few days just in case.

Tomorrow night.... Long awaited DATE NIGHT!! Sitter hired. Plans hatched.
We have only had lunch and a happy hour date since baby 2. Oh yeah and one early dinner.... back by bedtime.
I demanded a "real" nighttime date--one was promised for last career milestone and never occurred. But now I am really nervous about bedtime for my stage 10 clinger who is especially cuddly lately.
I just had the best night in forever. I did DC pick up, dinner and bedtime with my kid. While I was getting out his jammies, he found his shoes. He tried shoving his foot into the shoes. It was pretty much the cutest thing ever. And he waved goodbye to everybody at DC for the first time!
Then I made it in time for happy hour with a friend. $4 margaritas. Don't mind if I do.
THEN I had a phone call with one of my bffs. She's an OB resident and usually we play phone tag for forever, but I got her and we talked for an hour. She's getting married in DC in September and I'm so freaking excited.
@EagleWife Yeah I think shes in a wonder week. But she was born three weeks early so I never know where she really is in terms of it. If shes most likey at ehat her age is or 3 weeks behind.
@ashie624 - I didn't remember that she was 3 weeks early! That has to be challenging for tracking wonder weeks. My LO was 3 days past her due date, but still seems to hit the leaps a week early. Hopefully it passes soon!
@casey78 New-ish wine bar with global street food menu. Maybe outdoor theater or walk through the park after. Outfit still undecided, but maybe a dress that is decidedly not designed for breastfeeding.
I felt that way last night. Wine with dinner. Then S, A and I tried to race matchbox cars down the sidewalk on the hill close to our house. S thought it was really fun and so did I...and Alden went along with it. Met new neighbors who seem cool and wanted to set up time for drinks.
I really want to raise my sons to defy and transcend gender stereotypes.
But even so, I have to admit some discomfort that my son's current favorite library book features three stories about Disney princesses and their horses.
That said. Boy is it ever better than the awful superhero book he picked last time. I will pick Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle over the Wolverine any day.
Disclaimer: I only really read the last page of this thread.
That said -
@theuntaggablek There is nothing wrong with boys liking princess stories, but I get where you're coming from and it bothers me every time someone makes a gendered comment on Luke's current obsession with trucks and busses. BUT - omg, have you seen the Wolverine? so. hot. (obvs not talking about the cartoon here....)
@econmama I'm pretty sure you are a badass mama. Closing time or no.
@casey78 I'm still up, and also up for an ask me anything if that's what you're going for.... also @simone711.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Hope everyone is sleeping! G woke for a quick change and a bottle. He was juuuust asleep when he started screaming and flying all over the place. :-?? Back to sleeping now.
@rondosa hey! Yes we flew down on Tuesday. E did great! The flight was smooth and she slept, played and ate. She didn't cry or scream or bother anyone. Just waved to anyone walking down the isle. How's the transition to working mama?
So I am no means an expert, but I made a list of some lessons learned from my experience with GD for my friend who was recently diagnosed. If you're interested, I'd be happy to PM them to you. Again, I'm not an expert, so take them with a grain of salt.
