It's a girl! Baby Anna was born August 3, 2014!

Hi ladies!
I went in to be induced bright and early Saturday morning at 37 weeks. When I arrived, I found out I was already 4 cm dilated. Yay! I thought I was in for a quick labor.... but that was very far off! They started pitocin as low as it would go and I quickly got to 7 cm in a couple hours. They decided not to increase the pitocin, and I stayed at 7 for hours and hours after that. Finally about 17 hours in they broke my water. (My husband still talks about the amount of water that flooded out! He was amazed!) Then within 15 minutes I was complete, and baby Anna was born 3 pushes later!
She came out gray like all babies, and I can't tell you the fear I felt seeing her like that. Soon I heard her beautiful cry and then off she went to get cleaned up. I was induced for IUGR, so she was a tiny 5 lbs 5 oz and so perfect. Now we're soaking up all the newborn snuggles!
I've loved coming to this board throughout my pregnancy for reassurance and support. Thank you!!
