This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently pregnant.

If there are any newcomers that would like to be added to the list, post below and include you EDD and how many beans you have cooking.

Checkin is every Tuesday, feel free to post updates all week.

Q: Where do you plan for LO #2 to sleep in the first two months? If your Lo is in a crib will you transition them to a toddler bed?

Ducky719 – 7/29 8w3d today and just moving along. I am feeling much better this week than last as far as being a Debbie Downer and w being exhausted. Overall this pregnancy is similar as w DD only i am showing/bloated waaaay sooner. Like wearing loose tops bc people would know I'm pregnant if i didn't. PIO has been a breeze and I'm barely sore after the shot. First OB appt next Tuesday and i can hardly wait!!

Eve_Angelique – 6/25 Almost 31 weeks! Eeeeek! Little lady is doing lots of squirming in there. I am just praying that she doesn't come early!!they didn't get good enough pics of her spine, so I had another today, it was so good to see her squirming around in there!

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) 7/22 sorry its been a while life is crazy here right now, and i dont see it letting up till maybe november! 35 weeks now, and baby will be here in 26 days! I cant believe its so soon!!! Been rough with contractions and sickness making a return... Only a few more weeks!

carrera317 – 4/30 - Wow. I guess I've been MIA for a while! 22 weeks here and doing ok. It's finally starting to settle into my infertile mind that I just might bring this baby home! Freak out time!!! All tests and our ultrasound have looked great. We went on a nice vacation to the Caribbean for our 10 year anniversary and now are starting to prep for this new one. It looks like I'm amongst good company with a due date of 9/2 but a probable c section the week before (just not the 29th cuz that's MY birthday!).

Kissies - 4/30 - So I'm 23 weeks now, went to ob this week and my b/p starting to elevate 130/90. I had her check my other arm and it was normal. The elevated arm is the arm I have carpal tunnel in and of course the 3 blood pressure checks made it act up! I got labs done as baseline and all looked good and urine was negative. Still on makena to prevent preterm labor (hate it makes me super emotional and cry like 24 hrs after taking it weekly). I'm afraid I'll be a nervous wreck come 28 weeks because that' when my water broke last time. Trying to stay calm and keep that blood pressure down ) I go back next week because of blood pressure.

LeoLauren - 1/15 - It's official. BFP x 2! Omg (what I'll be saying a lot for the next 7 months)!

LuvBoston, EDD 3/9/15- 7/29 8 weeks 2 days and I fell really hard on my stomach this weekend but everything is ok LO is measuring ahead which has never happened to me ever. I am still having issue with my MFM so I can't wait till Monday to talk to my OB. Also my digestion has slowed so much my stomach is distended so I look like I'm having trips.

Mnerani – 7/29 30.5 weeks and working on the nursery. I'm getting customized bedding from Etsy and I'm excited to really decorate, since I didn't get to do that for LO #1 (given that we were in Kenya). I have so many things on my to-do list for the next 8-10 weeks. At the top of the list is to get DS totally potty trained- so far, it's going pretty well.

Ironmom2be - 4/2 - My update is I'm in limbo between RE & OB. First OB appt isn't for another two weeks. Since I was still spotting last week, my RE offered to have me come in for another u/s, so that's next tuesday (9w) I'm feeling ok, seems like exercising is causing the spotting (my scientific study) so I'm trying to balance staying active enough that I don't feel like a slug and doing too much to cause spotting. I'm tired and nauseous (at times) so I'm just counting my blessings and hoping the 1st tri is over asap so my worries can hopefully fade a little

Jenny935-7/22 We had our 7w3d u/s today. Baby was measuring 7w1d with a hb of 165. We have one more u/s in ten days at the RE before graduating.

BabyKsMommy - EDD 12.3.14 -7/22 Babies are both doing good. I had a quick u/s yesterday at my 20 wk appt. 21 wks tomorrow so I'm rapidly approaching vday, yay!

ccam - EDD 11.29.14 – 7/29 Nothing new here! 22w4d and feeling great! Just tired and starting to get uncomfortable while I sleep, but that usually doesn't hit me until about 3am so at least I'm sleeping like a rock before that!

Pennylane26 -Boy EDD 11.26.14 – 7/29 Heartburn, reflux, bleh. I think I'm going to have to start sleeping in the recliner again. Boo! Other than that, feeling great and nothing new! Twiddling my thumbs waiting to set up the nursery.
srveatch –7/22 This past week has been a roller coaster of emotions for DH and I. So far all of our tests coming back from the Amnio have been normal. We are super excited to learn we are having a boy but are cautiously awaiting the rest of our test results.

mdiblasi10 –EDD 1/30/15- 7/29 I'm 13w5d today. I'm still on an IV getting Zofran every six hours and fluids every other day, but I went back to work on Monday. I'm not sure how long I will be this sick and I think that is the most frustrating part. I am still unable to eat much - jello, yogurt, cheerios and milkshakes. That's all I can tolerate and it terrifies me for baby's growth. I can't believe how different this has been.... I absolutely LOVED being pregnant with G so this has been really hard

Mayzie15- EDD 2/01/15- 7/29 I finally received my test results this afternoon and my results came back that I'm low risk and it's a BOY.

Robeano-EDD 2/3/15- 7/29 I am happy to be in second trimester! Here's hoping 2nd tri energy comes soon. I hate this feeling exhausted ALL THE TIME! Like honestly, I'm so tired, and I feel like I can't get anything done. Which does put a strain on me and hubby . Other than that, things are looking good. Nothing new to report.

Cwhitaker27 – 7/15 just wanted to update here. I'm not pregnant anymore cause baby is here. Scarlett arrived via induction at 5 days overdue on 7.1.2014. She is happy healthy and gaining weight like a champ. She is 2 weeks old today.

9 weeks 1 day today, had my first official OB appt and so far so good, OB is quite worried about my stomach issues because she doesn't want me to become impacted. She did a quick u/s and there's still a little bean in there. I feel abs awful my stomach constantly hurts and after I eat I look like I'm 9 mos pg and about to drop. I also have been feeling so sad I wonder if it's the prednisone finally taking its toll. I also blew up in the face so anyone that knows me well would be able to tell I'm pg. My parents friends figured it out. The joys of having to have immune treatment:)

Is anyone else contemplating getting their tubes tied?

q: the new lo will sleep in the rock n play and then go into LO's crib. Lo will be going into a toddler bed. And we will be shuffling all the bedrooms we will be moving downstairs to our actual master bedroom with both Lo's upstairs.

DD was in our room that long but honestly all her noises kept us up. DD will get a big girl bed a few months before LO gets here. DH wants to get her a twin but i feel like it's a waste of money (but is a full ridic for a 2 yr old??) There are rails you can add to any bed we'll have to get.

My cousins kid is 2 and they put her in a full and it worked out great. That is what we would have done if we hadn't been given a toddler bed.

Thanks for the warm welcome @luvboston‌ ! ((Hugs)) to you! I hope your stomach issues start to resolve! That's miserable!

I believe my EDD is 4/11/15. Beta #3 is tomorrow and my first u/s is 8/21!

Since A will be just 2 when new lo gets here, my tentative plan is to keep her in her crib. New lo will sleep in a bassinet in our room for a few months and then move to their own room. All of this is also depending on where we are! We are listing our house soon and will be looking at houses in another school district with a better set up than what we have currently.

Update: Heartburn is under control, they upped my meds and it is such a difference! Now seeing the OB and MFM every other week but my BP is still good and I'm feeling pretty good! Hoping to schedule painting and order the crib this month so we can get started on his nursery. That will make it feel so real!!

QOTW: G will stay in her crib until 2.5 or so and then transition to the toddler bed (her crib converts). C (can I call him that now?!) will stay in our room in a cradle until 12 weeks just as G did and then he will sleep in his own crib in his room.

I hope you feel better @luvboston. I actually have thought about having my tubes tied. They'll be in there anyway. I'm pretty sure I'm having a RCS. Welcome @kmc84!! Yay @Ducky719! @PennyLane26 I can't believe you are almost 24 weeks!

I'm 14w4d today. I took my IV out on Sunday!!!!! I am still on the Zofran tablets, but I am eating again. I'm so, so thankful for that and hoping I continue to feel okay. My next OB appointment is next Friday. Otherwise I'm just cruising along

QOTW: We kept G in the pack 'n play for about 3 months since it was easier when breastfeeding throughout the night, so we will probably do the same with baby girl. G's big boy room is ready, but I'm going to wait a bit to transition him. There is a full bed in there and I'm planning to just add rails to it.

Almost 23 weeks, feeling pretty good and getting bigger every day. I have been so hungry lately. I am getting excited about approaching v day. I go back to the specialist and OB next Wednesday. Good question of the week!!! A is still in a crib and I don't think she will be ready for a crib when LO2 is born. We plan on keeping LO2 in our room in the co sleeper or rock and play for the first 4-6 months. Hopefully we can get get A into a day bed during that time. If she isn't ready we will just buy another crib.

I'm so glad you're starting to feel better @mdiblasi10! I hope that @luvboston is close behind you in the feeling better category. @Ducky719 it is indeed a beautiful sound. I'm glad to hear you heard it, I couldn't remember when I first got to hear it at the OB.

I had my 3rd and final u/s yesterday and saw the bean doing the jig. They were having quite the day at the RE's office - 8 OB u/s appointments in a row, and 7 of us were graduating. June must have been a good month. I saw a girl who I spent many morning monitoring days with, so that was fun to celebrate with someone who had been in the trenches with me.

Q: DS is currently in the smallest bedroom. We plan to move him to the bigger one and put baby in the small room. Bigger room is currently the guest room and has a full size bed, so I'm leaning towards putting him in there. When he goes back to daycare in 2 weeks he'll be in the toddler room where they sleep on cots - so hopefully between now and March daycare will be really good at teaching him to stay in bed so that we can transfer the skill! I'm not worried about him falling out so much as getting out and partying. DS was in our room in the PnP for like 2.5 or 3 weeks so we may do the same thing with this one. More concerning to me than where to put the kids is that last time my mom was in the spare room for several weeks after DS was born and was a super big help in the middle of the night - but we only have 3 bedrooms!

@Jenny935- your story about so many happy ladies at the RE made me smile

31 weeks and feeling good. I'm trying for a VBAC (DS was emergency C due to cord presentation) and I'm studying Hypnobabies again, like I did with DS. I'm only working for 6 more weeks, which is exciting. I love my job but I hated working right up until I delivered last time.

QOTW: We are transitioning DS (20 months) to his toddler bed next week. It's actually MY toddler bed from 30 years ago, which is super cool. DS #2 will sleep in a PNP in our closet until I'm not nursing several times a night. Before you call CPS, we live in Texas, so we get to have these HUGE walk-in closets in our house. This thing is big enough for us to fit his PNP, a small changing table, and a rocking chair inside and still have room to comfortably fit our clothes and shoes!

Hi ladies!! I'm just truckin' along - 23w4d today. I think I had yet another growth spurt over the weekend or something because I'm getting big! Getting up and down to play with DS on the floor is already difficult and I feel like I have so long to go! But besides that, I'm feeling good and still sleeping so that's a plus. Regular OB appointment tomorrow.

QOTW: The LO will sleep in the PNP in our room for the first few months and then will move to the new nursery. DS is still in his crib and I'm not pushing a bed for him anytime soon. He does great in the crib. His furniture converts and will remain his so we'll need to get a 2nd crib anyway.

I'm a little over 14 weeks and feeling pretty good - still not showing and not in maternity clothes yet. I really didn't show with my son until 5 or 6 months. I'm envious of the bumps and hope I see one soon.

QOTW - DS will be 16 months when DS2 is born his crib will convert to a toddler bed. I think he might be too young. I think we will have DS2 will sleep in the family bassinet (it's over 75 years old) in our room for the first four months. My mom moved in with us after some health issues stemming from chemo and radiation. So we currently have our master and the nursery - no extra rooms. I'm hoping the boys will share a room in the future. After all the OOP expenses for IF we can't buy a bigger house right now.

23 wks today so I can't wait for vday next week. I'm waiting for some call backs from nurses to set up my first monthly growth ultrasound.

QOTW: ds bed shares with me right now. I need to get our extra queen set up in his room and then pull the mattress for the toddler bed back to the crib. But the twins will sleep in rnps at first. I'm not going to buy a second crib until I know we will use it. We honestly never did with ds. But this is going to be very different this time.

I feel like I see lots of new people who are pregnant that I missed! So happy for you all!!!

Update: Tomorrow will be 37 weeks, I have an appointment and I am interested to see if anything is happening, she feels really low! Last week the cervix was definitely softening according to my m/w so that feels like progress! Now that I am done with school I am just working up until she makes her arrival!

QOTW: We kept LO in a pack and play in our room for about 5-6 mo and I am thinking we will do the same with the little lady, its just so much easier with all the nighttime feedings and such! Plus we only have two bedrooms anyways, and LO is still in the crib (I kind of love that he hasn't tried to escape yet and he's 2!) There is a full bed in his room as well, so over the first few months she's here we will get him transitioned into the full bed. We've started trying a little bit already actually, so hopefully that will go ok!
