Hi! I posted on the Infertility board last week, not really sure which is the right one to post on. My fiancé and I have been trying to have a baby since Dec 2012. I had a missed mc Aug 2013, and a tubal pregnancy Apr 2014. I lost my left tube. Every single month I get my period I end up in tears! The dissapoinment month after month is so tough, and seems to be getting worse. We met with an RE in May. He said we can be conservative or aggressive but didn't elaborate. He suggested hsg and sperm analysis. Some numbers were low on SA and my right tube is open. We have an appointment to meet with a different RE next Saturday for a second opinion since the first RE only really talked about IVF. Maybe that is our best route. I just don't know how much more I can take of all this. Fiancé is fine with keep on trying, however said he is on board with whatever decision I want to make. I'm confused! I just know I don't want to feel like this anymore.
Re: Intro... Period = tears (loss mentioned)
The ladies here and on IF have lots of experience to share. Those on IF are, for the most part, using IVF.
Getting a second opinion is always good, and it will help you to make an informed decision about what to do next. I hope you can come up with a plan that's comfortable for you and your H as well as giving you the best chances to conceive. I would recommend checking insurance so you can compare costs as well (unfortunately that can play in to how many cycles to try IUI or go to ivf).
Good luck and welcome!
