April Birthday Party Ideas

Hi,

My son is turning one in April and I need help with ideas for a first birthday party. Does anyone have any ideas? He was born April 14th so pool parties are not able to be done. Please help me figure something out!

    This may not be helpful now, but we heated our pool growing up for my birthday at the end of March for several years... so a pool party may work in the future, if you have access to a private one.

    April is a great month for a party - you could have it at your house/back yard or rent a covered picnic area.

    April is THE BEST month for a party!

    We had DD's 1st b-day at an indoor play-place for toddlers (since there's not much a bunch of 1 yr olds can do outside at that age).

    Then we had her 2nd b-day blowout in our backyard--that went well....the weather was perfect, except that it was windy!

    This one coming up is going to be at a local park, where you can rent out a covered gazebo/pavillion.

    Rena's birthday is on April 17th and we're doing a big party at our house. We're going to rent a moonwalk/slide combo for the backyard. Most of the kiddos coming to the party are toddlers and kids so that's why we're doing the moonwalk. We're doing it around lunchtime and serving pizza, chicken nuggets, etc.
