I'm new to pregnancy and I'm 13 weeks 2 days and just moments ago I was having cramps a little bit lower than my rib cage and was wondering if this is normal or if anyone else has felt this before...
I have heard that a lot of cramping below the rib cage can be caused by gas or heartburn. Have you tried taking tums? NP told me today that 12-14 weeks there is a ton of growing and stretching in the ute and that could cause a lot of cramping. I'm having cramping myself but its lower.
If you are still feeling poorly in the morning id give OB a call. They can reassure you or perhaps recommend something you can take. Feel better lady.

I just went to the doc Monday for cramping in my lower area... The advice nurse got me in that day but I also have had issues... Anyways, you can always call and tell them youve had done cramping and you want to come in and make sure all is well...
I've had a lot of this these past few days, and its because I'm gassy and constipated. Trying to get some relief today. Took 2tbsp of Milk of Mag and had a small iced latte. I definitely feel things moving, but no relief yet. My guess is its gas and/or constipation.
