Name(s) you ALMOST picked: Really nothing else. I pitched about 50 different names to my husband and Jack was the only one he said he truly liked.
Name(s) you strongly refused: I had no strong oppositions. Although when my dad refers to the baby as little Georgie (my dad's name is George), I want to claw his face off. No offense to the name George, but we picked Jack and my dad refuses to accept that fact.

Name(s) you ALMOST picked: It has always been William for a boy, but we liked William Archer a lot as well as William Robert. We decided we couldn't do William Robert as he would technically be "Billy Bob".
Name(s) you strongly refused:DH loves Braveheart and wanted LO's name to be William Wallace. I said no.
Name(s) DH strongly refused: We never had too many disagreements about boy names, but we had a slightly harder time with girl names. I liked Leah and Avery and DH vetoed those. I always liked Archer as LO's middle name as it comes from one of my favourite books (Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton), but DH couldn't think of anything except the movie Face/Off which kind of ruined it for him.

She is named after my dad, and we will see if we choose Jamie as a nickname. We chose her first name almost a year before we had the a/s. S/he was going to be James either way.

I really need to either accept Matteo, or start some serious name searching........I don't mind Matteo....its just.....I don't know....too odd for me? I like Gianni and that was DH's grandfathers name, so thats cool. My grandma was from Italy, and her dads name was Paul. I thought about Gianni Paul......but then DH brought up the fact that he has 2 Pauls that he knows that he cannot stand. So that name is kinda scarred for him. Sigh.......

I'll play! I'm coming from the mindset when we didn't know the sexes of the babies so we had to throw around a lot of potential names.
Name you decided on: Wilhelmina (Willa) Suzanne and Ari *middle name TBD*
Name(s) you ALMOST picked: Caroline (my first top pick before I thought of Wilhelmina), Arianna (had Ari been a girl), Wilhelm (had Wilhelmina been a boy)
Name(s) you strongly refused: The only name DH wanted was Ari (or a version of it) for one baby and I was cool with that. He left it up to me to come up with the second name.
Name(s) DH strongly refused: Oh god...it seems like he had a negative association for every male name I came up with. Oliver, Henry, Milo, Arlo...you name it. I'm so glad we ended up having a boy and a girl. Made naming so much easier.

I got ripped on the Baby Names board, but I also hate most of their suggestions.
Originally we were Addison for a girl, but I felt THAT was too trendy/popular, so we switched to Adalyn. Baby Names Board said it should be spelled Adaline, but to me, I think of pronouncing that with the word "line" in it (like, walk a straight line).
Anyways, looking for totally honest opinions here...
(Unless you are naming your baby Crapbag spelled KrapBahg or something, then I may have to object)
