In comment to the OP, I say it looks like a boy, but from this angle its hard to tell. Maybe at your 16 or 20 wk scan you'll be able to get a clearer photo. Looks healthy though! Congrats!

From what I see she was asking can you tell boy or girl. Now why that turned into a bash on if she does drugs is her baby smoking a cigarette did her mom do drugs with her isn't my idea of sarcasm or snarky comments or honesty it's just a bunch of grown adult mothers being mean. As far as leaving the group I will when I feel the need to. I could handle much more than some ignorant comments from a bunch of internet people I don't know and will probably never meet. But my comment was specifically directed to who I tagged. Yet your commenting so maybe you can't handle the "snarky remarks" so don't let the door hit you on the way out

Let me clarify,,,,, they were completely different posters. The OP was a drive by post. It was someone who was not a member of the community who basically posted a blurry picture asking us to tell her the sex of the baby. There is only one sonographer here. We cant possibly know the baby's sex so a few ladies made a joke. This is not a member of this forum being mocked. Its a drive by post.

The person who was "attacked" for posting about drugs was a carry over from another thread. The drama just ended up in this thread.

I dont understand why you are so angry when you didnt read the entire thread. Its the equivalent of walking in on a bar fight not knowing what is going on and throwing a punch. You call her a bitch and tell her to read a book but you didnt even bother to read the thread.

To be angry I would need to know one if the people involved which I don't. My opinion is that all the negative comments were unnecessary. Does it matter if she's a drive by poster? If no one wanted to say anything decent why bother leaving a comment. I don't see how basically calling her a drug addict was appropriate. I didn't see the 4/20 post and I don't care to read it. @kkkjmama Nobody called anyone a drug addict, Nobody said the OP did drugs, a snarky comment was made about the U/S pic looking like the baby was smoking a cigarette. Guess what, Shit happens when you put stuff on the internet. There was another post that was started by a different user about if smoking weed during pregnancy, that thread got brought over here, and that poster decided she wanted all of her drama on this thread.

You get a "F" in note taking because you were more concerned with getting mixed up in the drama than paying attention.

I directed my comment specifically to her but you felt the need to come and add your opinion on what I posted because u clearly like drama. Idc what the other post said. I was the one who mentioned Downs! You are correct, not all mental retardation is categorized as Downs. I was shocked at her her ugly comment, I responded quickly. I do not need to read a book, nor am I a b**ch!! Sorry that comment offended you (or anyone else).

It's too early. So I'm not going to keep going back and forth. As I said over and over I directed specifically my comment to ahylton08. I'm not white knighting or joining in on this silly conversation. I had the impression that these posts were for people to leave positive comments or good advice. But the comments I saw were very offensive towards her whether she is a random drive by or whatever. But what amazes me is that a few of you have said that I wanted to chime in on the drama now I'm white knighting. @kkkjmama before you start white knighting on these posts you might want to well inform yourself and get to know the ladies first. @chickenonsunday who made the cigarette comment is awesome and super sarcastic. This was meant as a joke and in no way an insult. If you were to read more of the posts you might know this. The 420 comment is from a post that is a few down on the first page. The OP for this post basically fled that post to comment in here. Jumping in un-informed is going to bring negativity. Take the time to read everything before you comment. This would be much easier for all of us. @ahylton08‌ i would love to know what boards or communities you are on that condone any for of drug use during pregnancy. When you ask a question like that there is no well in holy hell you can't expect a little backlash. I mean seriously I know that pot is now legal in many states but that doesn't mean its safe to use during pregnancy. Let not forget alcohol, cigarettes, and many over the counter drugs are perfectly legal, but unsafe for pregnancy. You can't get so heated that it received the reaction it did. No offense but there is a part of me that really thinks that you actually intended to get that reaction. If so just own it and don't be oblivious.

Actually it isn't solely used to refer to someone with Down Syndrome. It's an inappropriate outdated term is often used to refer to anyone with a development disability or intellectual disability.

Thank you for pointing out that person's ignorance and how offensive that term is.

I am a special ed teacher who teaches children with autism as well as children with other disabilities. I get overly sensitive when ignorant people throw around the "R" word. Thank you again for defending!

Yup, that is her. I actually wanted to do a PSA about not giving your kids all a name starting with the same letter. My mom did that with my sisters and me and teachers/grandparents/family friends are always flipping our names around. I will pretty much answer to any name that starts with "S" even as a 35 yo.

My mom did it with my brother and I (we both have J names) and that was long before the Kardashian's

Now I'm married to a J and our son is a J. It really was unintentional... I promise! But now DH only wants to consider J names for this LO. He says that LO will feel left out if it doesn't have a J name. Are you fucking kidding me?

I don't really like any other J names. It will be interesting to see how this works out.
